Is it sold out yet? and also I pre-ordered mine and got it my number is 3926 , watched it last night and liked it, I wish there was a Nightbreed 2 and 3, like Clive Barker wanted

Yes. One of the videos is on page 238 of this thread. I don't know how many we're sent out by mistake though from everything ive heard it could be scream entire allottment, though the right people got them too. From bits and pieces that people have said maybe all LE in screams possesion we're sent out before any standard editions. The only part thats conjecturee is how many of the 10.000 we're wrongly sent out to standard orders but with so many places having no stock i think it may be a huge amount. Hopefully unlike the video on pg 238 most will send them back and other places will get them. Scream are even letting people keep the posters as long as they return the LE.

I pre-ordered the LE Amazon on July 8- well before they expanded to 10,000 copies- and I got#5008.

I'm kind of miffed about that.

Don't get me wrong, I am glad to have it and feel bad for whoever got screwed but I did pre-order it a long time ago.

I'm in the same boat. I ordered July 8th and got #6262. Thankfully in my case, my ocd actually likes the balance of my number so it doesn't bother me like it would have had I got something completely random. Still though, it seems silly that the earliest pre-orders weren't given priority with those lower numbers (after the 3000 that Shout obviously allocated to themselves). Not upset at all, just merely stating what I feel should be obvious considering many of us jumped on board well before the total units were raised to 10,000.

I don't think that there is any practical way for Amazon to attempt to correlate release numbers with the order dates. They're going to ship them out randomly.

Possibly all. But definitely the 3000 that sf had sold with posters.

It appears that your package have got mis-routed at the USPS sort facility, and now it's been transferred back to the correct location. You should receive it today, but if not, it will be tomorrow for sure. There was no postal services yesterday due to Veteran Day Observance.

After Blowitoutahere blew my pre-order off, I grabbed the last copy that gohastings,com had for $68.66 shipped.

It arrived today, sealed and brand new and (luckily) in perfect condition since it was mailed in one of the infamous jiffy bubble envelopes. It is #5,338.

I just received mine today too, and we're close. I got 5,364.

Glad to finally have this! Third time's the charm!

Now I have to figure out how to get rid of my Sears order. They charged me for it back in October, but since it's backordered it never shipped. I contacted them about it over a week ago, and they said they were working on cancelling it, but for now I'm stuck with an extra $50 charge on my credit card. Guess I'll have to contact them again.

I see mostly all with the 3 disc version owners rave about the DC and will never watch the TC again etc

Just wondered if anyone has watched the TC and can score it over the DVD? I stuck the DVD on last month and it held up really well.

Congratulations on finally having it in hand! As for your Sears order - why wait for Sears to get their act together? Just call your credit card company directly and contest the charge. Tell them the item was never shipped and that Sears has taken way too long in canceling and issuing you a credit for merchandise you never received. The credit card company will credit you right away and you can let Sears battle it out with the credit card company if they have an issue with it.

It's the first version I watched from the LE set. I own the dvd as well and that had an ok transfer, the blu-ray definitely has more detail which in turn highlights the great makeup and set designs*. That said there is still some dirt present throughout the movie, not too distracting luckily, but I did notice at one point (the aftermath of Lori rescuing the child), a vertical stripe running over the screen which should have been rectified (I haven't compared to see if it's also on the DVD, but I'm willing to bet that isn't present in the DC.)

Had the TC simply had a standalone release, I'm sure it would get a good enough rating, it doesn't look its age. The sound mix is also pleasing, I don't particularly crave the 5.1 surround mix that was on the DVD.

*Except for the taxidermist gas station, that sequence looks so tacky and feels like it belongs in a Texas Chainsaw sequel rather than Nightbreed.

This is ridiculous, they should ship those to Amazon.ca. I guess this means the set isn't sold out if Amazon.com is selling more that weren't pre-orders. Hopefully everyone that placed their orders through various other vendors gets their pre-orders.
