This got me thinking about Taika Waititi’s first feature film, Eagle vs Shark. It never got a Blu-ray release outside of Australia (Region Free apparently), but it appears to be OOP too. Released by Icon Home Entertainment, it’s currently selling between $600 and $1100 on Amazon in the USA and Australian sites.

I watched it on DVD many years ago via Netflix and I recall it being a lot like Napoleon Dynamite.

They list them for that price, but I bet they never sell.

Agreed. Looks like Play-Asia has it in stock for a more "reasonable" $52.

Most other retailers I have come across are showing "This item is currently out of stock" though.

I find PlayAsia to be absolutely useless for OOP titles. When they say "In stock in 5-15 days," that just means they don't have any on hand and have absolutely no idea whether it's still in-stock at their distributor. So for OOP titles, it is NOT in-stock at their distributor, and they inevitably cancel your order.

"Death Becomes Her" is not out of print, you can delete it from the list (I received an email response from Shout saying that they'll be ordering more copies). However, the Slumber Party Massacre 2/3 Double Feature IS out of print, you should add that to your list.

I looked into ordering this (as I tend to do whenever I see an interesting title pop up as going OOP). But upon further review the Shout edition sounds mediocre and I decided even going OOP it just wasn't worth the asking price. I was half hoping it was OOP because that would mean maybe somebody (Universal) bothered to do a new scan of it. Figured maybe Shout was double dipping - as they've tended to do lately - or maybe somebody like Arrow got it.

I was searching for two documentaries to add to the collection but they both seem to be out of print at the moment,Fright Night:You're so cool Brewster! and Superman lives:what happened.I tried to e-mail both companies but no answer yet.Does anyone happen to have more information?

You're So Cool, Brewster! is included on both the Eureka and Sony releases of Fright Night (granted, in both cases, it's the truncated edition that only covers the first film). The Death of Superman Lives is out of print. It was an IndieGogo exclusive, and the writer/director/producer unfortunately passed away, so I don't see that changing any time soon.

The Death of Superman lives was sold for years on their website after the campaign. It disappeared only within the last 6 - 8 months after the director passes.

I own the Eureka blu ray of Fright Night,but I wanted the see the complete doc with the extras.I didn't know either of those blu's were limited editions,I hope that they'll soon be available again.

It looks like the Ghostbusters 1 & 2 [35th Anniversary] [SteelBook] [4K Ultra HD] is set is OOP. Only 3rd parties are selling it on Amazon and Best Buy is sold out.
