It's always best to keep the 3 front speakers matched, get the CC-10.

I'll be honest with you Not because Energy is better than Def Tech cause Def Tech makes amazing speakers for ht, this is not the point, I suggest you get the CC-10 for the most seamless possible transition when a car or an object , aplane goes across the front sound stage, it will flow better since the Def tech center will not have the same tonal characteristics as the CF-70 and it's aout sthe same price as the CC-10.

The CC-10 will be your best bet. The pro Center 2000 goes lower than the CC-10 but makes no sense to use with Energy Left and right, you can keep your Defenitive Tech surrounds for as long as you want I am sure they will do great but keeping the front sound stage all the same is a huge plus.

Driver size matching would have been even better, CF-50 for instance with CC-10 would have been more seemless, if only Energy would have thaught of making a CC-15 to match the CF-70 would have been even better.

I have a dilemma now.. only because the DT looks better.. lol Do you personally think it would make a huge difference if i were to change my whole setup to DT from Energy?

something like this..
Definitive Technology ProCenter 2000 - Center
Definitive Technology BP6 - Left n Right
Definitive Technology Pro Monitor 1000 - Surround + Surround back

again I ask only cause i think the Definitive Technology has a better look ... and also the cost is just about the same..

you know I heard the CF70s and CC10 the other day, and because the CC10 is a 3-way speaker also, I thought it hung in there very well with the CF70s while watching Inception at BB. My OSP wants this setup really bad now.

If you are going to buy the BP6 then you should be buying the L/C/R 2002 or 2003 whatever its called.

Maybe not I have not tried both in the same environment so I can't tell which would sound better but seriously you base your purchase on looks

I think the Energy center integrates well with the CF-70 towers. and honestly looks great too, Have you seen it in person?

I just don't have a doubt about that maybe I put a doubt in the OP's mind but When you want ultimate match I think it would have been amazing 3 way with 6.5 inches.

my dads b&w center is a 3-way with 6.5" woofers, and that thing is monsterous.

that may work, but Im pretty sure that the 2002 is the lines matching center, I know when Aramis bought the BP6s that he made sure to get the 2002 or the 2300/2003, whatever it was.

No, I am definitely not gonna purchase my speakers based on its look but just stated that the look of the DT appealed me more to me.

And no, I have not seen the Energy setup in person yet except for the CF-70 and CF - 30. I think I will go with what you had suggested and will keep you guys posted... THANKS!!!

Got ya.. yeah I did see that the L/C/R 2002 was recommended @ amazon too. Thanks for the input.. I think I will go ahead and get the CC 10 as suggested by "BigAl87".

Maybe when I am rich enough I will go with a complete DT setup just to compare.. but thanks for all your suggestions!

furthermore I was asking it not only for the looks but before buying the CF 70 I had the DT pro Monitor 800 x 4 and Pro Center 1000 + an Onkyo sub as my HT setup and I loved it.. thus the questions... I am new to Energy.

NP, I have no problem with Def Tech, but I was starting to question the purchase of a whole new setup after purchasing some great towers
