I bought The Boys season 1-2, two months ago. And for whatever reason didn't do anything with it.

And then when I went to do something with them, I found there's triple stacked discs on both sides, and the middle one on each is scratched and one episode on each won't rip.

Always a risk with leaving stuff, I do the same but thankfully have been fortunate so far. Hope you get sorted.

One reason .... maybe the best reason for me to get back to a media server.

You can KNOW if there are problems within the return window.

(making sure to watch everything right away is another good way but not as fool proof and far less practical.)

My RS-3100 (NZ8 variant) makes me so happy every day. I've been loving projectors since getting one in 1999 and it's no question the best experience I have had.

It's even better than my Sony V70 and that's really saying something because that was a long term dream come true and I really did enjoy that one until it developed problems I could not solve.

I am the worst about doing this. I sometimes leave movies unopened for years before finally getting to them.

It’s usually about a year at the most with me, but obviously still a risk. I also have my Melusine titles to catch up with.

It's a cold and windy morning here. In a few minutes I will be leaving for St. Louis to see my urologic surgeon. I bet that almost everyone here will be having more fun than me today.

Enjoy that haul, Ender14! Five horror movies and one holiday musical make for a festive selection.

I don't open movies until I watch them. I still have hundreds of sealed DVDs.

That used to be me... now everything gets opened upon arrival and ripped to the media server... where I now have hundreds of movies that I haven't gotten around to watching...

In the process of getting back to a media server based on Z9X.

We had kitchen renovations and a change of ISP that resulted in having to rebuild the home network which have put off until today. It's fighting me but also kind of cooperating.

Also a solid order. Never seen Exorcist 2, but the others are all bangers. As far as White Christmas, I personally loathe musicals, but this is one of the few I can tolerate. Even as a kid, I enjoyed Danny Kaye's performance in this and his other films, so there is a huge tinge of nostalgia I have for White Christmas.

For completely messed up reasons, no movie can consistently illicit the kind of visceral response in me like THE EXORCIST. It is easily, and by a very wide margin, the most watched movie by me personally in a lifetime of watching movies.

I have seen part 2 once in it's entirety. I tried again when it came as part of a bluray anthology set... 10 minutes in and I remembered what I was in for and shut it off.. I understand that it has a certain cult following but IMHO, it's just so bad that I need to pretend it doesn't exist in order to maintain my reverance for the first installment which is, again IMHO, one of the greatest movies of all time....

As an aside, despite the gripes on this site, I absolutely LOVE the presentation of the latest UHD of the original. Watching it in my HT gives me the kind of goosebumps that this hobby is all about!

At some point I'm going to just bite the bullet and by that Arrow Exorcist II BD via Zavvi or something, because Orbit still has not restocked and they had the lowest price.

I'm honestly surprised I received likes for my post as I feel it's a bad habit. Guess many others are in the same boat. The real issue for me is that so many titles get released that I want/buy that I can't realistically keep up and still lead a "normal" life.
