Had a lot of fun. Met some new people. JJ, your a natural with the Relic.

I know how you feel abut the raid gear. I've done it 6 weeks running and had nothing from normal raid.

I got the Shadow Price auto which I will use to replace my Rare auto in Crucible. I barley use my VOC since the fire rate is slow in spite of having the auto feature and solid impact. I have my ups and downs playing but when I'm hot, I can go on a serious 10-kill rampage with my Corrective Measure.

Been meaning to decline invitations (hard to say no) so I can concentrate on getting Rank 3 Crucible, but hopefully I can get this done by next weekend. I'm Ranked 2.5 right now and had the same Crucible bounties for over a week

Thanks for the run, Jose, but your "very good" statement for me is being generous. It took me a bit, but I finally started to get the hang of it. Really liked oracle duty, however it looks like I'm going to need to get better with the harpies once the random teleportation starts. I need better weapons (and skill)! Any particular damage type or weapon type better/worse for oracles and harpies?

RNGesus screwed me at the end with only energy, but truly, that's all I deserved. Really was hoping for VoC. Ray, you lucky b@stard!

Ric, so now you know the basic concept of the 1st half of the Raid and the last part of the Raid with Atheon. Now you need some experience on how to get to Atheon! That part is tricky too, I hope you don't bust next time we play.

Better level up to at least 28. You can do it at 26 as long as your Fireteam consists of 28's and above w/ Raid experience. Otherwise you're gonna die a lot. I learned the hard way when I was still a 27.

I'll let you know about next week. I ran it last night with 3 friends and we found 3 randoms using reddit. We had 3 28s with raid experience and 3 level 27 raid virgins. We completed the raid in about 2.5 hours. It was a lot of fun and challenging at times. The best part is I didn't get one piece of gear or any guns, just a bunch of shards and energy.

Better him than me. Every time I ended up getting teleported I was completly lost. I got the outside part down though.

Yeah it was me. It was when we were talking about playing with new guys not knowing what to do. Thats when I yelled out "So you're not supposed to shoot him in the head?". The way everyone was caught off guard when I said it was priceless.

And yes I was shooting him in the chest stomach area.

It would be good for your alt though if you don't feel like storing weapons every time you switch.

I would agree. I have it fully upgraded and using it last night was a pain because of how slow it is.

I never got frustrated taking you guys in though, I could see us doing better every time. Plus, no one died falling off the map. I really didn't recall Harpies giving us so much trouble, though. Switching Mega to the home team and Ric into the away team was a key thing to finishing that up.

AND YES because here I am holding the shield and I see you right in front of me shooting to the right, - I really don't remember the Supplicants ever being so much trouble like they were last night.

I feel comfortable leading a raid and relic holding (smashing and cleansing, shielding) for the Templar/Atheon as well as Gorgon's maze now. So I'm looking forward to the next group to take.

Still waiting to get Atheon's Epilogue, Prime Zealot Helmet, or Prime Zealot Cuirass. I think I have to advance another character to 20 to do this frequently, so...might as well keep working on that.

It seemed like someone killing harpies was a must near the end. Maybe it would of been a little different if some of us (me) had a better gun to spray more bullets at Athlon. Best MSG I have wasn't even fully upgraded or legendary. And I learned to not shoot rockets from the bubble. I wasn't the teacher of that lesson though.

Wow Suros Regime is expensive. Was hoping to get an exotic weapon but alas I only have 15 strange coins.

I guess I am gonna have to stick with Doctor Nope a while longer. Or just perhaps only until Advanced Warfare is out

Work on leveling up the VOC. I didn't like it at first, but now that I have the auto feature, it's my main primary weapon for missions including Raid. Looks like you got all the loot for yourself.

As far as the Harpies, they need to be @ 100% eliminated before the Away team returns. Then everyone can fire at the Boss and you have some free time to reload and stuff when returning to your positions. 1 guy takes care of Left Gate, 1 guy takes care of Right gate and 1 guy parched high left on the gate to assist both sides with their Harpies.

Okay, looking for guidance on this. I've got Shadow Price, and it's a solid AR. Will Suros be much of an upgrade for me? I don't play PvP, so,it'll just be for PvE and raids. My concern is that I like having Ice Breaker, and it's a pain to swap exotics in tense situations. Is there another exotic I should just hold-out for instead? I've got like 35+ coins, with more every week.
