I never saw ASM2 (or 1, really) so I can't properly judge or make a comparison. That being said, I actually like Far From Home.

Spider-Man movies: Raimi's films and The ASM2 had the best costumes by far (i.e. SM, GG, Doc Ock, Venom, ASM)

It doesn't ruffle my feathers at all. I think the show is hilarious, particularly the Mike Nelson years. It's brought me a lot of joy over the years and kept me in good spirits while I was recovering from my stroke.

I hope there is a comedy series that always cheers you up when you are blue.
