I don’t understand. Where’s StarMike to remind BB of INFLATION?! He’s always so prompt on the Superman thread!!

FF is crawling to 500 million, which I didn't think it was going to make.

FF 2005 made on a 100 million budget, made 333 million, 3X it's budget. It was profitable

First Steps is only at break even.

In terms of numbers, 2005 outperformed First Steps.

I'm not sure what it means if the domestic totals for First Steps beats Brave New World.

ALL THREE MARVEL FILMS THIS YEAR WERE A BOX OFFICE DISAPPOINTMENT.

This is like hey Mr. Sixth Place finisher YOU SUCK, from Mr. Fifth Place finisher.

Superman 2025 did better than all three Marvel 2025 films but the profit was not mind boggling. It was profitable is the best face you can give the movie.

Now Lilo and Stitch 2025 Kicked everyone's mutha lovin a$$. and you can take that to the bank!

So did A Minecraft Movie.

So both WB [DC] and Disney [Marvel] had a big blockbuster, just not with the superhero movies above.

Disney also had Snow White 2025 and they deserved that, every CGI Dwarf and spoiled BRAT of it.

Can't wait for the future spin on disappointing Doomsday numbers.

"The biggest MCU succes since F4: First Steps!"

I kinda get it. You re-post here so many times that you are bound to miss 75% of the movie on every watch.

I don't think I've even watched my favorite films of all time more than ten times each over my lifetime, but I prefer to watch a movie once every few years for the most part, so within a decade, I'll probably watch something a maximum of five times if we're going by every couple of years. It's probably more like three years, so three times a decade.

Even if it's being said in jest or as satire, I cannot imagine watching something 25+ times within a month. That's damn near every day. Even if I loved it, I would've gotten tired of it after the fourth watch.

Different strokes for different folks.

I would never revisit a movie if I thought I was tired of it.

As much as it's fun for people to crap on Disney. At the end of the year they will be the only studio with three movies that grossed more than a billion each...again.

Lilo & Stitch and presumably Avatar 3. What’s the other? Zootropolis/Zootopia 2?

No doubt... but will it do the same numbers as the first two? First one had a pioneering discovery about it. Second one had 13 years of anticipation(I guess). F&A doesn't have either going for it. All the while and still to this day, no fanfare.

The excuse to why the second film wouldn’t do well is that after 13 years nobody cares about Avatar. So we’ve heard this before online which didn’t really prove true with regular folk.

Can you believe that those wanting these films to bomb are still going at it every day of the week?

This gets said every single time Cameron releases a new movie. People said TITANIC was going to flop.

This is a different scenario though. If F&A does as good as WoW, then that definitely puts it to bed. This is another test for the brand.
