BTW, was "Blackout" even filmed in New York City or on some stage in Vancouver? I hate when they substitute New York with some other city like there's a good enough comparison.
I'm with cinema84 in this one, Vancouver might be a beautiful city but it's no substitute for Manhattan.

I remember there was this huge trend for a while, particularly in the late 80s-early 90s, where they kept substituting Toronto for NYC all the time, and real New Yorkers were always livid about these NY-set films that looked nothing like New York.

I grew up watching The X-Files. As far as I'm concerned, Vancouver is part of the Mid-Atlantic.

But in replicating 70s/80s NYC, you want someplace where it looks like a bomb went off. Porn theaters, abandoned buildings, hookers leaning against buildings chain-smoking, crackheads roaming the streets. That good ol' fashioned charm.

WTC, Times Square and 42nd St, the ruins of the Bronx. NYC of that era was one of my favorite settings for films.

At first I was a bit upset I missed out on it. Then I watched it on YouTube & was very glad I did. That would've been a blind buy I would've greatly regretted.

They edited it. That was a snippet in the middle of an update on the new releases and Bill. Then they edited it, I guess to make it cuter or something. I'm not sure what. I don't post car poems on the internet, or anywhere else for that matter.

Well you'll be laughing even more when you find out that Ronin has about 8 copies of it and we have the rest. That one will be extinct very soon except for what Dark Force has.

I've made one purchase from the darkforce store... and despite the fact that you stock some titles that I'm interested in, I will not make another from it.

Your attitude towards potential customers is beyond terrible. And quite frankly, there are enough quality places to buy from, with far more movies than I can ever buy, that striking one off the list is satisfying. Sure, I may miss out on some interesting movies, but shit, 10 more are around the corner.

Yeah, conveniently leave out the fact that these "potential customers" have terrible attitudes, are disrespectful and antagonistic.

Give respect get respect.

Act like a spoiled little entitled prick and get treated in kind

You are conveniently leaving out that DF was loved when they started, and his antics(which came first) got us where we are today.

I know your point was just to insult everyone, but you're still wrong.

Neither of those places will give you much, and certainly nowhere near what you could get for it online.

But i thought they had none? You were crying on facebook about having the last ones. You then made another comment about VS. All that working out... maybe you need to get laid or something.

Do you enjoy pissing everyone off? No wonder no one wants to work with you.

This right here. He should just be quiet and stay behind his keyboard. Hed probably sell more. Instead we get grown men playing childish games and talking shit.

Considering that I was just able to add 100 copies to my cart, I'm gonna call bullshit on that one.

Since the store is never open, you'll still have copies of it when we're extinct.

Let's face it,
only MirrorBall and Ruined actually like Dork Force.

Everyone else is realy sick and tired of the endless repetitive BS.

Please grow up and any titles you have remain available because your store is down 99.9% of the time.
