Both series available in DV but my projector does not have a DV decoder hence SDR. Some projector owners use a HDFury to spoof their EDID so a device will send DV to the set. I suspect if streamed in DV then the video bit rate would be a little higher.

I'm keeping mine and even have most of it backed up twice because I retired working hard drives.

I believe in time I will have the full 3,2,1 backup that is recommended.

3 backups, 2 forms of media, 1 copy off site.

Added the following to the collection. Far and Away is a blind buy, don’t like most of Ron Howard films but the trailer for this one looked like it may be watchable. The kicker, both ordered from Walmart. Amazon does not have Uncharted, only third party and not any cheaper on Far and Away.

I ordered from Target since they have the better selection right now.

I have two pristine SHIELD remotes as I too have never used them. I have a HARMONY ULTIMATE ONE hub setup in my HT and, like you, use a FLIRC dongle in my living room. I used to have it paired with a HARMONY 650 but recently scored a pair of older HARMONY ONEs which I like better - identical button layout but with a charging cradle! I never have to concern myself with changing batteries and the cradles kind of force me into the good habit of placing my remotes in a place where I can easily find them.

Anyways... it was my upstairs FLIRC setup that was failing before I had my 3rd reboot after the update...after that, everything seems to be working fine.

While the movie devolves from "movie of the year" status in the first half, to something more generic in the second half, it is the back end that will give your HT a workout

Your display's ability to render shadow detail will be severely tested. You'll either be jaw droppingly happy or hard pressed to discern what is going on.. ATMOS is also reference to keep you feeling uneasy.

I've been trying to setup a time to watch this with my daughter as we're both big Whannell fans...

I'm not a big werewolf fan to begin with so I will be going in with lowered expectations anyways..I will probably just end up watching it by myself and let her decide based on my opinion whether it's worth us wasting our precious together screening time on a short order watch...

Being a Whannell movie, the UHD disc will be an automatic future purchase as it will be technically excellent even if i deem the narrative to be lacking...

I held off on picking this up at the moment due to it being $40 with shipping and $25 on Kaleidescape, and the odds of me adding a player to my system are getting better and better. Thank you for your review as it confirms that it is right up my alley.
