The question is this: is the UK version the same master as the USA version? From posts I read on this forum, all of the Gladiator BDs will be from the same source.

I am sure you read about all of the processing that rendered the USA release less than stellar. That being said, if you liked the way it looked on your 52-inch screen, that either means that you did not notice the processing (or it did not bother you) -- or -- the UK BD release is not from the same master.

The steelbook looks GREAT! I cannot wait to receive my copy from amazon.uk. Thanks for the photos.

The only problem I had with the movie was Comadus (sp?) His flesh tone looked a bit out of whack. Not sure if it was the transfer or his makeup. But that was the only thing that stood out to me.
