It's ok, I had a dream about it last week haha. But Rita was still alive and it was pretty much an episode on shrooms or something. I don't remember anything that happened other than that.

I read the description for the 3rd episode and it says something about Deb finds her 'rookie partner intolerable'?

The episode was pretty much just about

[Show spoiler]Dexter being unable to feel anything and Deb being a *****. No shock there my pre-episode guess was that it would take Deb 20 minutes to hook up with Quinn but it took 18. Not sure what to think about the episode it was just about exactly what I expected it to be.

Boardwalk was much better tonight than Dexter.

I get that everyone has an opinion, but I don't understand why you even watch if you really haven't liked the last few seasons?

I kept hoping that it would get better, but it's just so damned boring. I don't understand the massive love. The first season was original and great but each season is more of the same. I still want Deb's head on a pike, and for Dexter to finally became a real savage, which he flashed is possible tonight, but it would have been so much better if he'd taken off in that boat and not come back. Now it's still going to remain the same. I don't think I'll be watching anymore.

Was great to see Dexter again. Was even better to see Dexter act "human" like that in the end. Was so deliciously evil !

Quinn was Captain Obvious and Captain Douchebag at the same time this episode. He's going to get on my nerves real fast if he keeps up this act.

Am I alone in thinking this was quite possibly one of the top 5 best episodes of the entire series? If not THE best?

And seeing him

was epic.

BTW: what shredder program was he using on his laptop? That shit was sweet! I want! I want! I so truly truly want!

I loved it, it wasn't the typical episode. It went back to the beginning and showed him and Rita's first date. He's starting to realize he really did love her and cared about her.

He just can't express anything. Which makes me wonder why people around him haven't figured that out by now. He's acknowledged his feelings towards her, but still doesn't know how to feel about what happened, how he's supposed to be acting.

I thought him

[Show spoiler]killing the guy in the bathroom was in a way a breakthrough. He killed someone randomly and showed some type of emotion, even if was by killing out of anger. And Harry was kind of proud of him for doing that.

I'm still thinking he's going to be more violent, and killing more because of the situation.

Some people don't like the direction it's going, I'm not sure if it's because it's becoming more human,

or what. Or if it's the show in general. We all knew that Quinn was going to be looking into him more just from last season.

But at the same time I don't understand where people think the show is gonna go. Either Rita lived and nagged him all the time and wasn't able to kill whenever he wanted, or where it's at now. It's been one episode so people really shouldn't be judging just from that and the previews.

Found this on the EW talkback from a recap of the premier. Interesting...

Big mistake from the writers: Quinn and Masuka say that Trinity had never killed a married woman before. But in Season 4, we learn that Trinity murdered a married woman in 1979 in a bathtub, and her husband was convicted for it. If Dexter (or someone else) doesn't use this to prove he didn't do it, than that is a glaring plot hole.
