Everyone needs to know the new rule additions and trading/free agent adjusted situations, as well as the other parts of the latest update. If you need the update to be sent to you, please pm or ask here. Violations of any rule addition following the draft will have serious consequences. You should have read them as ive sent out around 3 pms with it included. Theres no reason to have them violated.
The votes were tallied and the ones looking forward to a Re-Draft won the polls. I'm sorry to those of you that wanted to keep your team, but the several updates to the game/league, rule clarifications, etc. etc. were just too much to lose. If any of you wish to drop-out due to time restraints or just because you don't intend to re-do the Draft, please let me know. However, the Re-Draft isn't the only update coming to you all; the following list will show you what's changed so far here in the League and the game. It also includes things intended to be changed in the near future to please all the members. Hopefully we all get along with these new additions! If you have your own opinions, feel free to post them or PM me the details!
Re-Draft : Let's get into detail. I've reviewed mostly everyone's schedule and came to a (semi) decision that the Official Fantasy Draft will be set for tonight at 8:30 PM EST. If you get a horrible pick, I'm sorry; I can't do anything about that. There is no power for the Commishioner to change what pick you get unless I constantly change the Franchise and that's absolutely not happening. You have to live with what you've got and, if you want to leave because of it, then have a nice life. That's tough love, most of the members know I express that a lot.
Rule System Replacement (Traffic) : Our League will now follow a "Traffic Light" System that I came up with. No, I'm not giving you green, yellow, and red stickers, so calm down. Actually, everyone will start off at the Green Light. Depending on the rule you break, you'll jump up a level or a few to either the Yellow Light or the Red Light. If you manage to **** up in a way that can't even be explained then you'll end up in jail; a.k.a. out of this league. That's just a quick, simple explanation of the newly applied Rule System so hopefully most of you understood. A more thorough detailed explanation will be made when I re-do the Rules this weekend. (I laugh because I called this a "traffic light system". 17 is the best excuse.)
Traffic Light Levels : Green (Start) > Yellow (Slow the Hell Down) > Red (Just Stop) > Jail (Get Out)
Rule Addition (Arguments) : Arguments won't be tolerated anymore in this thread. I know how ironic it is that I, of all the people in the Blu-Ray Leagues, am saying that but, seriously, it needs to stop. If you're about to post something that you think might SLIGHTY offend someone and spark a fight then don't post at all. It's a second grade concept; if you have nothing nice to say then shut the Hell up. Joking with friends, such as the way I do with blast (who sucks might I add), doesn't matter to me, but when I come home after sparking one up and see idiotic comments in my thread, well, let's just say it kills my high. Eeessssppppeeeccciiiaaallllyyy when I'm trying to understand the shit you guys say. (Take offense if you want to, but that's more aimed at me than you all.) I also want to add that if someone starts something with you, don't reply. If you post back with more banter and continue the flaming then you're just as wrong as the one that started it. (But not AS wrong. ) Either way, this rule is taking effect immediately. The consequences have not yet been created but rest assured, they will be severe if I see this happening from here on.
Rule Addition (Reporting) : Do. Not. Post. A. Report. In. This. Thread. That's all this rule is pretty much about. I mean if you're playing a game with someone and they manage to do something that's against the rules, you must MESSAGE me about it. Do not spark a flame (going back to the previous rule addition) and then post about it within this thread; it won't be tolerated. However if you do end up posting a report in the thread, don't worry, I'll still recognize it, but you'll be punished as well. Maybe not as bad as the one that did the wrong thing in the game (depends on what they did really), but you will be punished; most likely with going up a light in the system. So don't do it. It's not hard. Like at all.
Rule Clarification (CPU Games) : Treat the Computer as if it's another member of this league. Do not run up the score, don't nano blitz (easy to tell if you did), etc. etc. I'm not getting into detail on this because it's a common sense sort of thing, much like several other rules that constantly are broken in leagues. Just don't treat the Computer like shit and you'll do okay.
Rule Clarification (Passing & Home-Runs) : Quick review; when you're destined to win in a game (don't manipulate my words for those of you that do that sort of thing), don't pass. Don't do things that might end up with you running up the score. However, if you're keeping to the ground game and you break free of all tackles and your guy is about to make a Touchdown, well... go ahead. Running out of bounds might be more "sportsmanlike", but keeping someone from a Touchdown isn't really realistic (sim; for example, the Titans & Patriots game.).
Rule Clarification (Pausing) : This is a rule I proposed (and was accepted) to Pill for his league. Most of you don't know it so I'm going to quickly review it here. When someone pauses the game, do NOT immediately resume. You must wait for them to resume the game themselves before you continue as well. However there are exceptions; if someone pauses the game and they're gone for longer than 4-5 minutes, then you can resume. If you're going to pause the game and know you'll be gone for longer than 4-5 minutes, MESSAGE your opponent and tell them. Once you return from whatever you were doing, message them back and tell them you're ready, but WAIT for them to reply before resuming the game yourself. Doing otherwise is technically considered cheesing (cheating) seeing as one of the two players aren't active.
Trading Clarification (User2User) : Trading between users is allowed during the entire 17 game season and Off-Season. The only time it is prohibited is during the NFL Playoffs. The trade command will be turned off for one reason: I need to review the trades before they take place. When I confirm the trade I will then execute it with my magical Commishioner powers. If I find the trade is stupid or doesn't make sense (one-sided, etc.), then it won't happen.
Trading Clarification (User2CPU) : I'm allowing trades between any user and any other Computer team. No, you sneaky little bastards aren't taking advantage of their idiotic trade logic; you'll be taking advantage of my idiotic trade logic. (And possibly turner's) If you want to trade with a CPU team just message me about the trade, give me a few details, and we'll go on from there. I'll wager with you, but know that I'll be looking at team wants, needs, etc. All that.
Free Agents Clarification : Free Agents are allowed to be signed anytime during the NFL Season/Playoffs. The only time it is absolutely forbidden is during the Off-Season. If I see anyone sign a player during the Off-Season, consequences will be made. Clarification on Off-Season F.A.'s have yet to be created but, as of right now, it's not allowed. If there is an F.A. over 78+ then you must message me about it and we'll figure out things from there. Do. Not. Sign. Them. Until. I. Say. You. Can. (I decided to allow free signings mainly because it's a fantasy league and they mostly are used to fill positions. The reason it was made into a big deal earlier was because, at that time, the rule was that there was absolute no F.A. signings and yet people still managed to snatch up some players.)
Injury Addition : Injuries might be turned on. It's not for sure yet because I'm not sure if the injury update actually lessened their existence or not, but if it's true that they don't happen AS OFTEN, then they will be turned on. But it truly depends; for now, they're turned off until further notice.
Soon-to-Come (Weekly Updates) : Players of the Week (O/D), Game of the Week (Reviews and scores), etc. etc. will all be coming. And most of you know that I like making my "creations" be the best around the block so expect some pizzazzles. (Not my images but I know how to manipulate them to my liking.) Not getting that much into detail because I'm not exactly sure what's going to happen myself.
Member Debate : Here's an update that I think might make the league more 'interesting', yet piss off others at the same time. It's not official yet, which is why this section is called the Member Debate; I want you all to vote on whether we should pass this or not. The idea is that each week a coin will be flipped; if it's heads (this is totally an example, I don't know how we'd decide this yet) then someone's teammate just made an oopsy. Who's teammate? The Ravens? The Lions? Who knows, but someone done ****ed up and got a fine, suspension, etc. Basically what I'm trying to say is that player suspensions will be happening for no reason from now on. (If it's passed) A huge headline will be made on the event and which team it's affected. For example, Terrell Owens might have gotten into an incident with Brandon Meriweather (Patriots) and ended up with a black eye while Meriweather was rushed to the hospital. (Exaggeration) Who will it happen to? It depends on the luck of the draw. If you need more information feel free to ask.

Yeah, it is. I'll give out a more detailed Team Owners list either tonight or tomorrow.
Also, I decided just to re-post the last update. Those aren't the only rules, the ones located in the first post are the REST of them. Just so everyone knows. Remember, it's a sim league. Don't do what you do in Cruz's league; play like an NFL Coach. However there are restrictions on fourth down rules, etc., so make sure you understand them.
The reporting rule is probably the most important after the first week of the season as there most likely will be a few **** ups. MAKE SURE YOU READ IT; DOING WHAT IT CLEARLY SAYS NOT TO DO IS NOT SMART. That's to everyone.

up by 21 is somewhat easy to come back on in this game because of the insane catchup mechanic. Can we relax that rule to if you're ahead by 21 in the 3rd (not second) then you abide by certain rules?

I was thinking of making it the third but I'm not sure. It makes more sense but, right now, it'll stay the second. At least until I get more opinions/etc. Thanks for your feedback.

If not enough people show up, especially the ones that need to be here, then worst will have came to worst and the Draft will, once again, be re-scheduled. But I really doubt that's going to happen because every time I check back more people have joined/logged on. So.
