Abominable Snowman, Quatermass and Captain Kronos are part of the Icon / Lions Gate slate though so there may still be hope, after all FATMFH seemed to finally appear from nowhere. I just hope they don't use current sales as a gauge for future releases as I'm sure at anywhere from £15 - £20 they're not flying out.

That is a bit more encouraging (Icon rather than StudioCanal) so will keep watching the internet for new information! Am resisting importing the Aussie discs for Quatermass, Kronos, Hound, and Frankenstein Created Woman but sooner or later I'm going to crack. The relevant UK rights holders will need to get a wiggle on.

I've not yet given up hope of some Halloween-ish Hammer releases being announced in addition to the Network releases of August and September.

Finally caved and ordered Twins of Evil from Amazon.com! I am from Europe and I know that a UK edition is coming soon, but have no idea if there is subtitles on and can't seem to find out, so I just went ahead and ordered it from us (along with Cannibal Holocaust).
I've heard good things and really looking forward to watching it in a few weeks!

Well if you don't like it, you can blame me
I enjoyed watching this recently, and will be buying UK release as it's great film imo, and the twins are kinda hypnotic

Hands of the Ripper has shipped. It's left over from an old Amazon Prime trial so should have it tomorrow hopefully. With all the Network release date changes I'd totally forgotten when it was released!

Received today and just had a very quick skip through. Detail is good in general with a fairly thick layer of grain in some parts. Looks to be little in compression problems. I haven't seen the Synapse disk but it seems brighter than the other two I have. LPCM Stereo. No time to check any of the commentary and the Thriller episode is an upscale obviously. Nice little booklet.

Region B locked.

I'll probably hang on for a little while just in case Final Cut pull one out of the bag seeing as there'll be a substantial price difference but I'm ready to pull the trigger on this one! Thankfully I'm not into mediabooks so I can happily hold off for the unlimited standard version.

I ordered the simple version, no mediabooks required for me. Plus it saves an extra 5 Euros or so.

Yeah, I'm with you. I really like what I see out of the Anolis, but, man, it would be costly to import.

Try here, appear to have stock, still not cheap but limited mediabooks never are! Please note i have never used the supplier, so can't vouch for how good they are.

Yeah I think it was a mistake on their part, it was there when I went on the page but when I tried to purchase the page was removed. Nevermind, managed to find a copy on eBay! Thanks.

I just received mine (the Mediabook version) via Amazon Germany here in the US and watched this tonight. Simply put, Anolis knocked this right outta the park. Just an outstanding transfer, perhaps the best looking Hammer BD release worldwide from their golden age. I wrote a more involved review in the "German" BD section but basically, the release gets my highest recommendation.
