Incorrect. I was teetering based on the price, but the little issues that have been coming up consistently with each season have now tipped me into the "wait until it's finished" category.

So you go on telling me how I think, because you know me oh so well. Or is your issue the same problem 95% of people on this site struggle with? Namely, you overemotionally identify with the movies you like, and thus to justify your purchases to yourself, must come down on anyone that says anything that you do not want to hear.

I am fine with you buying this for yourself, eastx. How about you show me the same respect in return.

I wait three years for movies to get made on a regular basis. We all do. I am patient, which more often than not pays off better in the end. It'll go by way faster than you think. I waited two years for the OS to go down in price, and now it's on its way to my doorstep as we speak.

As far as financing other shows, I am not one of the interested parties. OS and TNG are the only Trek series I want to own. I hear Enterprise fans now have something good to look forward too though.

Can't wait to get mine. Give us a little review of pq or anything else when you get the chance.

It's been my experience that it takes a couple of days after shipping for the refund to process. Also happy to report that Amazon prime served me well this time - got the set on Dec. 3!

Went to a different BB during lunch and got it! It was $69.54 with tax though, a little closer to the "red zone" for me personally but all in all I am a happy camper.

My Amazon Prime preorder didn't arrive today and the tracking number doesn't even show that it was picked up yet. I complained to Amazon but they didn't care...."wait a few more days" they tell me. Well I just ordered it from Best Buy for in-store pickup today and the Amazon copy will be sent back when/if it arrives.

Amazon did manage to get my Star Trek Federation The First 150 Years hardcover book to me today, which is release day.

Well the first thing you should have said after "Well check back later" was "go back and do your job instead of having customers make extra trips to get product that should be on the shelves, and let me speak to your manager"

I must have been in a forgiving mood (and I really didn't want to be late for work) this morning because I agree with you.

What is the point of opening early if the new items aren't on the shelves yet?

I've never understood that about Best Buy. Have the new releases on the shelf and ready to sell when the doors open people!! DUH!!!

$15 in Best Buy Reward Zone certificates (including $5 Holiday bonus) + $50 BB Gift Card that was burning a hole in my pocket = Day 1 Purchase for me!

With tax, $3.11 out-of-pocket. Although it is rather irritating that they are charging the same amount for one less disc than Season 1. That's a real Ferengi movie. On the other hand, I commend them for having the "missing" disc be on the inside front cover, so you can actually read most of the printing this time. My Best Buy only had 3 or 4 copies on the shelf in the regular TV section, and didn't even bother to have a sale-price shelf tag for it.

Now to just sit back and wait for more reports of problems!

Amazon will start processing refunds tomorrow but it may take up to Friday to see a refund processed on your order.

I just went to check store stock at Best Buy for this as I wanted to get double RZ points tomorrow, and NO Best Buys around here have one. None, out of like 30 stores or something. What the hell?

I just got done watching "The Child".

First off let me say that the Season 3 trailer which hits you as soon as you pop in disc 1 is mind blowingly good! I mean like grinning from ear to ear good! The disc menu is also very nice. *Note you will need to press right after you highlight the episode now in order to choose between watching just the episode, or the episode with promo.

The episode its self looked amazing for the most part however there were a few "problematic" shots, mostly far shots of the bridge (and by far I mean shots where you can see the majority of the bridge and its crew). Just too much grain for my tastes and I think they should have taken the time to correct that. The most evident scene with the grain comes when Picard exits his ready room and Riker is sitting down on the bridge (Picard walks up to him). You can see tons of grain in the black areas of Rikers hair. There were only 3 or 4 shots like this though so very minimal.

On the other hand scenes like when they are in the conference room announcing Trois pregnancy feel like your actually sitting there with them. The clarity and detail is awesome! Now I understand why in the Blu Ray review they stated that it is so good you can see the imperfections of the sets because you really can! Minus the few grain shots, I was highly impressed.

As far as the exterior shots of the enterprise go; the ship looks great IMO and there was only maybe one or two fly by shots that I thought could have been done better.

All in all a great start to season 2.

Here in southeast Michigan, none of the Best Buys had them either! WTF! I found one store 60 miles away that had it, and because I wanted it today, I drove there and back to get it.

I called the local BB store and was told they don't plan to stock it. Online order only.

Epic fail Best Buy! Next time I'll pre-order from Amazon!

I ordered online through best buy, because Amazon was estimating arrival by the 24th. Sorry, but I need it sooner than that LOL! Best buy estimates between 6th and 10th. That's close enough

It's just my judgment based on the evidence presented in this thread. I could tell you weren't going to get it (at least not at launch), so it seems the pieces fell into place.

It is okay for you not to buy the individual season of course, though naturally that's disappointing from a 'support future releases by voting with your wallet' perspective.

My local BB had 4 copies. Well 3 now.

Also happy to see the 1988 Reading Rainbow Special. I remember watching that when I was a kid.
