More stuff i've picked up today for fellow members. Had a good day and some bargains. Couldnt believe my luck to find a mint 10000BC in hmv. After picking up a mint Golden Compass yesterday for £8 in hmv as well.

The member is going to be in for a shock when I tell him that Chernobyl steel had 70% off

And Fast Girls was £2.40. Storage 24 was £4.50

Rare HMV Clash exclusive £8

[Show spoiler]

Why was it 70% off? There's a few of those steels in my local hmv with a sticker but can't really justify getting it for just 30% off, but 70% on the other hand...

It appears the blue cross sale is now 30% off instead of 25%. But outside it said upto 70 %. There was a section on an aisle which had titles with 70% off

I wouldn't mind but this store isn't closing. The one that is closing offered 10% off and blu cross still 25%

Madness

Rust and Bone 2 disc from Sainsburys. Plus a sealed Star Trek 3 disc set (was a present from the other half)

Sains_Rust_Plus_ST.jpg

So, not a hoard today, but two good additions to the collection.

Did "Rust and Bone" sell out on sainsburysentertainment.co.uk, only available instore now?
I'll have no chance if that's the case, don't think any of the Sainsburys stores nearby have Blu/DVD sections

I just went over to Sainsburys Merry Hill. They had three copies left and I got mine. The price on the shelf was £10.99, the price sticker on the item was £10, but I was charged £10.99. I never noticed and for the sake of 99p, I can't be bothered with the hassle. It was still a very good price

I have the regular version coming from Amazon, but it will be going back. I wasn't actually aware of the Sainsburys version until I saw it in this thread. It's so easy to miss these exclusives. So happy to have this, but as I'm still working my way through the Bond movies, Licence To Kill next up, this will have to wait

Some slightly OT pick ups here, including DVDs and games, but here goes anyway:

I hear Studio Ghibli's latest film is in here somewhere!

About a months worth of stuff for me. The two Third Window releases were pretty decently priced at Play at the time (there have been some great bargains from them since they announced a switch from direct retail). Black Sunday, From Beyond and Onibaba have been some of my most eagerly awaited blu-ray releases. The Shameless DVDs worked out at less than £5 each at HMV, thanks to their 30% off promotion. The Incubus, finally! StageFright is to replace a copy I can't seem to find. I've been requesting a Blu-ray release from so many different labels I fancied rewatching my copy, only to find that I cannot find it .
