Just to add to my post the customization seems it could be deeper than borderlands since some guns and armor can be further upgraded. Quest rewards and random engram turn in loot are tailored to your class. Loot that drops in yhe world is randomized for each person in the fireteam. The one thing I felt missing was a talent tree. When you leveled you unlocked the next upgrade. So borderlands and warframe give you more control on character spec. This could be a product of alpha or alpha cap at lvl 8. We will see.

Played for a couple hours last night. After about 30 minutes other randoms were on my map. Is exp shared or was I stealing their exp while I was helping them from not dying?

For some reason this game reminds me a lot of Phantasy Star Online.

I was wondering the same thing. We were all fighting those big bosses with the 5 min countdown hit after that they had a separate mission then us but in the same area.

With the dark corridors and early noises it made for a really intense experience. There was actually a part where you are in a pitch black room with only a flashlight. As I was going through I started to hear some noises moving around me and all of the sudden Alien style comes out a horde of some crazy looking creatures. Believe me when I tell you that this made me jump in my seat and got the adrenaline flowing...I have not had an experience like that in a game in a long time.

Glad I'm not the only one that thought those sections were pretty eerie. You can also see that something is there on the radar but the noises keep going on all around you and you can't find them (at least I couldn't in the particular area I was in). I thought it was pretty intense and I loved that part.

They built this game to be coop so I'm pretty sure xp is shared.

Got in 3 matches of PvP today. All wins and completed a bounty. I'm not much of a PvP guy but the matches were really fun. It will be interesting to see how balanced it will be in the full game. Looks like you can level through PvP as well since I got glimmer and xp for kills.

Everything about the game screams Halo. From the animation (my God especially the animation), to the weapons, to the guilty spark/cube companion and the Flood type enemies.

He was fired less than a month ago. Destiny is all Bungie has worked on for the last 19 years. I still don't get how this didn't add up.

I got my code last night, got it downloaded but never had time to play it until today. I was on the fence about this game. That changed after playing it. Really enjoyed what I played. Will definitely be picking this up now,

Looks like Playstation randomly sent me a code, so I'm downloading the Alpha now. Pretty excited to try it out. Looks like most people here are giving pretty positive feedback.
