Disney went through the trouble of creating their own redemption site to prevent double dips of their codes (UV and iTunes). My money is on custom inserts and stickers being the norm with them.

My local Wal-Mart only had DVD format pre-order cards for American Horror Story: Asylum. Any idea if I will get HDX quality when redeeming on VUDU? Or has anyone seen the Blu-Ray preorder?

I redeemed a code and it is in SD. I don't think a Blu-ray pre-order exists for whatever reason.

Is it safe to buy Walmart/Vudu pre-order codes from ebay? The seller I am looking at emails the codes rather than shipping the product. Also, the pre-order for Pacific Rim is very cheap (almost half compared to local walmart). He has sold 43 pre-orders of it already and has many more.

How do they acquire them so cheap? I am just scared if they are wrongfully acquired.

just a question since this is the first time ive bought anything like that off ebay, how long did it take to receive the code? and did you get an email with it or was it something i have to contact the seller about?

He sent me the code about two hours later through an eBay message. This was on a Friday night (last Friday night to be exact) when I made the purchase.

He's on the west coast, so if your on the east like me it may not be until around 11 at night.

My guess is the folks selling on eBay that seem to have an infinite supply are either Walmart or Vudu (or both) employees.

I got two codes today from him(or her), but one is invalid. Hopefully I get a working code sent to me soon, but I'm not ready to endorse this seller just yet.

UPDATE: A working code was sent within an hour. The seller is highly recommended.

Probably just a typo - they are long codes and if this ebay person is selling a ton of them, then chances are they typing out lots one right after the other which makes it easy to fat finger type one here or there

PS - I just pulled up this guy on ebay and I can tell you my prices are better than his.
