Haha. I was literally thinking the same thing about the extras. I went with the US edition because soundtracks (especially) and dvds have more value for me than artbooks. Though i might pick up artbooks for kill la kill separately maybe lol.

According to Anime Ltd.'s comments on Facebook regarding Sword Art Online II, Aniplex of America is in charge of English language rights to some or all Aniplex titles.

One could then infer Aniplex US declined to give the extras to the UK release to try and increase sales of the US release. That's what we get for having our release be so cheap, I guess...

SAO II Vols. 2-4 scheduled and I just added the Aldnoah.Zero sets to the db.

Something I find amusing about SAO II volume 3 is for the same price as the LE ($60), you could import the same volume containing those same 3 episodes for around the same price (Without shipping), but you're getting less content (Our BD booklets altogether will be 96 pages in total, Japan got 144. AoA has been cutting out pages from the JPBD booklets on us for years.)

AoA also isn't including any of the Character Song CDs that were included with 7 of the Japanese volumes, which is really unfortunate.

I'm winning the battle on Aniplex

In a few days I'll order Nisekoi 3 and 4, cutting my backlog with them to two volumes of Monogatari. I'll get those eventually, but my next purchase will be Aldnoah Zero. Don't need DRRR, since the UK one is just as good. Irregular looks interesting, but I've decided to go UK on that one.

So... Yay!

Yeah that's the one. Got one off of Amazon (using my Prime) so I'm hoping its not something fake... Bought without hesitation since they usually disappear quick. I'll find out Monday.

I couldn't find anything for the repackaged version. Half the things I buy I find pictures or watch videos of unboxing - to see what edition I want. And I'm not looking at the limited edition of Baccano.
