Hold my hands up for being lazy here, but rather than wade through 25 pages about the great man, can anyone tell me if there are definitive 'best' versions of the Death Wish films on blu-ray?

I'm in the UK and am looking for a) decent picture quality and b) uncut versions.

I already have the mediabook Austrian version of part 2, but am looking for the others.

Thank you!

The US discs of 1,3 and 4 are fine.
For Death Wish 5 you can choose between the release from the same company as your DW2 Mediabook or there is / was an alternate European release which should be cheaper although there doesn't seem to be much in it at the moment

Uncut Death Wish II has been officially announced by Shout Factory, with some extras to come at a later date!

The uncut Deathwish 2 is much more graphic. Jimmy Page's soundtrack is great too.

I want a U.S release for Death Wish 5. Does anyone know, who has the distribution rights for it over here?

I own a very good version of "Raid On Entebbe" on DVD. Wish someone would put that on Bluray. A Tv movie but still...Bronson is awesome in it. A very very good movie. Anyone knows anything about a possible bluray of it?

Not very likely that that movie will ever be released on Blu-ray because that film was actually made for TV.

I don´t believe that the film will ever be released on Blu-ray.

That's typical of Blu-ray!

I'd take the uncut DVD to be honest... Tired of waiting... Is the uncut version available in any form?

Think it's Lionsgate so no chance. I picked up the Austrian mediabook and it's the best that's likely to be seen.

I came across this very cool custom VHS set while browsing today and thought I'd share. The site provides a free download link for the custom covers:

I asked Warner Archives on Facebook whether they have plans to release the two Warner movies "Telefon" and "St.Ives" on blu-ray.

They replied that there are no plans right now.

I´ve told them that it´s about time and that Bronson blu-rays would sell.

What source did you get this information from, about Lionsgate having the distribution license for home video? Just curious.

Twilight announced that they are going to release "Murphy´s Law" and "From Noon til Three" in September.

Twilight loves Bronson. So do I.

What do you think about the picture quality?

I think the German blu-ray is quite good.

I bet From Noon Till Three will have an audio commentary, meaning another purchase from me. Twilight Time rocks!
