meh I guess, Im fine with it but it would have been nice to at least see even just a couple. but whatever still loved the movie and will definitely be getting the Steelbook

may even see it again in theatres!

Here's how I think that scene should have gone:

[Show spoiler]Cruise walks up to her in the training unit, Blunt does that graceful rise from the floor and says "Can I help you soldier" (or whatever it was that she said), and Cruise, with a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes, says "Your middle name is Rose and, boy, do I have a story to share with you!" Cruise keeps the smile and stares lovingly at Blunt for another second or two and then the camera switches to Blunt. A quizzical look on her face slowly changes to one of pure understanding and then we see the very beginning of a smile.

Fade to black!

Touche, x-men seemed to get universal praise on here. I wasn't planning on seeing EOT at all but after all of your guys praises, I plan on it. One of the reasons I love this forum, I see crap all the time I otherwise wouldn't have.

I just returned from seeing Edge of Tomorrow at the theater.

I preferred Oblivion, to be honest. I'll take the epic M83 music and the sweeping vistas of Iceland film locations in Oblivion over the constant barrage of visual and sonic assaults in Edge of Tomorrow. Edge of Tomorrow is a good movie, but it's just... It's just too much of too much, if you know what I mean.

Tom Cruise is fantastic in this movie, though, and, in fact, this is one of the best roles of his entire career. I've always adored Emily Blunt, and she is outstanding in a surprisingly tough and physical role.

I loved seeing Bill Paxton in a major film again. That put a smile on my face in a big way.

I'll give Edge of Tomorrow a solid three and half stars. The special effects desensitized me too early in the film, but the characters kept me in the fold.

Cage had to use J squad because that's the people he knew everything about thus it would be easier to convince them about his ability.

If he had gone to the other squad all he could've done was tell what his ability was and they wouldn't have believed.

I just got back. very good film. I really enjoyed it. the ending was a bit cliched, but still nice. I wish they had done the alternate ending being described here. would have been better.

and the ONLY thing I didn't get is

[Show spoiler]How did Cage reset using the omega's blood, reset the day, but the Omega wasn't reset with him. it still was dead. wouldn't it be alive when he reset the day?

Unfortunately, they didn't use the book's ending, which had a more logical way of ending the time loop.

you mind summarizing the books ending? I'm curious...

all being said it was a lot of fun. another Tom Cruise vehicle for entertainment and my knees get weak every time Emily Blunt is on screen. that woman could make me do anything.
