Aw man , I ordered the Deluxe collectors edition steel book from Zavvi (which I don’t even see on their website anymore) and I got a notice that it’s delayed until late may

There will be cancellations so chances are they will have "limited" quantities to order once they receive stock.

Pretty sure I can guess why.
Mine is active but no movement after 2 weeks so I assume it's not going to happen. Still upset they marked it shipped if they don't actually have it. Well I finally got it from Ebay.

Strange I never got an e-mail from them about this. I'm thinking of ordering from Zavi too, to maximize the chances I'll actually receive this one new from somewhere.

I’m not sure why the thread got closed for The Rise of Skywalker 3D thread. Just because Amazon isn’t shipping everyone in the US and foreign territories doesn’t mean that other retailers aren’t.

I got my shipping notification for the 3D release from Zavvi today so I should have it by my birthday.

Amazon UK printed out the DHL shipping label for my STAR DOG 10 days ago, but have not given it to DHL yet. Hopefully they'll hand it off by the end of next week.

Just to give it a break for a few hours. Too many posts about Amazon and Frozen II.

Excitement is great. Endless discussion about coronavirus-related shipping delays, interminably repeated across three or four movie threads simultaneously, is beyond tiresome. You and some others may love it, but shipping and delivery discussion in movie threads is annoying to many. I get PMs complaining about it. You can't please all the people all of the time, so while Amazon is sending out different information to different people and causing confusion, it makes good sense to discuss that here, all in one place.

I could post endlessly in the 3-D Rarities II thread about the ridiculous journey my copy of that disc has been taking across America and how furiously frustrated I am about it, but I would rather the thread discussion be focused on what's actually on the disc. Much more interesting for everyone to read, and I'm sure nobody would disagree.

Boy do I wish I had just done global priority before they locked out changes. Note: this was an intracountry transaction and so was not an import for me. If the amazon order ever comes I'll trash this used copy and keep that one which will hopefully have a slipcover. I assume it will get cancelled though.
$73 to Ebay scalpers for Frozen II sounds horrific but when I think of what I paid for Ralph Breaks The Internet it's not far off. And if your package takes more than a few days to arrive, rest assured that any possible virus in it will have died.

I would be ordering from Zavvi if I was in the US but, given some of the discussion here, not with much confidence...

Sometimes when I wait long enough, the UK 3D editions are made available on the Amazon US page, which I order from there for faster shipping at similar prices. I usually check if the ASIN from the UK page leads to any pages on the US store.

These are usually third party sellers on Amazon US, so they most likely aren't impacted by Amazon's prioritizing rules.

Hard to say whats going on with zavvi atm, they don't even offer the standard 3D version of Frozen II.

For those who received the Rise of Skywalker delay email from Amazon UK, what shipping speed did you choose? Hoping that Global Priority orders won’t be delayed, since I have not received any email or notice from Amazon UK about a delay. My order still says it’s on track to arrive by April 29.

For Frozen 2, my cc was charged the Friday before release... I was not charged today for Star Wars... so hopefully not a bad sign! LOL

I wasn't charged for Frozen 2 until the Saturday before release (March 28), which is also when my order status changed to "Preparing for dispatch." So there's still time.

So question...how does one order movies from the UK and Germany when you go to the Amazon site and they will not allow you to ship to the US. I'm curious how people are getting this movie other than thru ebay.

No it's not due to covid...I've tried ordering 3D movies before all this started from Amazon UK (like Kong Skull Island) and I'm always told cannot be shipped to the US. I just tried ordering from Germany so maybe the German one is due to covid...idk.

I think most of us have had these 3Ds pre-ordered before the ship not to your country message appeared. So they appear to not be canceling these orders.

So until they change shipping exclusion new orders cant not be placed on amazon.de or amazon.co.uk

zavvi may still work as i was able to pre-order trolls world tour 3d on there for ship to usa.
