Very reminiscent of the opening of House of M.

I'm consistently amazed how well the MCU adapts the source material. Praise for the storytelling cannot be overstated. I see no signs of faltering or slowing down. With quality this high, there will not be any genre fatigue.

The
[Show spoiler]Ant-Man and the Wasp magic trick reference
was easily the best thing in this episode

I oddly have two reactions to this Episode

"Oh great, we have that obligatory explanation episode from a different perspective."
and
"Well hot damn,"

I noticed there was some meta/self aware humor in this episode. At least we know what to expect for Deadpool in the MCU.

Also liked how we saw
[Show spoiler]the Blip from a more serious perspective and not the punchline humor as seen in FFH

Not sure what to say except it's an excellent episode and I'm glad we finally got to see
[Show spoiler]Woo and Darcy.

I'm already fatigued. There are too many movies, shows to keep up with, otherwise you'd be lost.

That opening hit hard. So much better than
[Show spoiler]how Far From Home did it (although I enjoyed that).

I definitely agree. I'll take a more serious approach over the comedic angle just about any day of the week.

I can imagine teens internalizing their pain of such events into comedy. Makes sense to me.

Though I loved the horrific approach in this.

Now that was a great episode! Loving where this is going and I like how I can't really predict how it's going to end.

I feel like the punchline humor from FFH was because FFH was filmed at the same time as Endgame, and Sony's writers didn't know how to write an proper reaction from the Snap.

Just like The Mandalorian S2, every episode is better than the one before it. Wasn't expecting
[Show spoiler]"the blip", at all
, and then the rest of the show was amazing, and then
[Show spoiler]dead, gray, zombie Vision... Freaked. Me. Out.

Sure, totally. I'm sure if I were in a similar position, as a full blown adult, I'd do something similar. I use comedy often as a coping mechanism so I get it.

It's also nice to see a different side of it, and I thought it was used effectively here. Storytelling wise, I think it was a rock-solid choice for this episode.

[Show spoiler]muted gray Vision implies that Wanda didn't use her powers to revive him, she's essentially just reanimating his corpse. I'm still hoping he's really alive and what Wanda saw was just a horrific reminder of when he was dead. I guess it depends on how alive her children are.
[Show spoiler]That scene is disturbing, still think of all the moments where Vision is trying to rationalize whats going on, and when doing the magic act, he was doing things independent of Wanda, yet she refused to let him remember or have powers. Perhaps that scene where they appear facing off to each other is the time point where her traumatized memories are forced aside. The whole reality appears to be her way of dealing with so much tragedy. The wildcard is the twins, I wondered how they were conceived? Loads of fun interpretation the few facts we know.

I really hate exposition:

“Hey, as you know, your mom was this and that.”

“So let me get this straight, she’s in this and that?”
