Don't be drawn to conclusions that is the path to the Dark Side.

I think you need to workshop that one a bit more. Maybe start with some self reflection and ask yourself why you and your ilk are eager to gobble up whatever slop that studio is serving up, without question or hesitation? And without taking into account the myriad ways things could be improved that are so blatantly transparent? It’s very masochistic.

Everyone is wrong but me. Or how Anakin Skywalker did not have the high ground and tried it anyway. A lesson in just walking away from things you do not like.

Says someone whose raison d'être is being upset on every single franchise, superhero and comic book movie thread on this forum. I haven't even seen most Disney Star Wars stuff let alone the studio's other productions. Or even a fraction of the stuff that seemingly makes your life a living hell.

Just because we mock your chickenshit quibbles and nerdrage projections you immediately resort to labelling challenges to your half baked complaints as shilling.

I see certain folks have already made up their minds about a show they have not actually seen yet based on totally extraneous factors. No surprise here.

Personally, I would like to watch the show before making any judgments. I am not exactly jumping with excitement for it, but I am interested and will be checking it out this upcoming week.

I think there is potential there for it to turn out well.

Im here too - I want it to be good since this is a time period in star wars that we have NO content for, at least from film or TV shows. I would love a "prequel to the prequels" TV show.

But, lets be honest: Its hard to be confident that it will get it right. Still, Im there for the 2-episode debut. Fingers crossed, rabbits foot in hand, etc.

True. Overall, the Disney+ track record has been pretty good so far, if you ask me.

You just going to “these are not the shows you are looking for” with regard to Boba and ObiWan while tossing in the mid assed Ashoka and Mando season 3 in there huh?

Regardless of critics/rotten tomatoes/tiktok reviews, Ashoka and Andor did nothing to improve the brand. You need bigger wins with actual strong viewership. Andor while ok, isn’t that.

Have you ever seen people so desperate for a brand to conform to their own spurious standards for approval rather than just like or not like a movie or a show?

Opinions vary, farrik.

At some point that person needs to create something and shown them how it's done. If not what is the point?

It's a no brainer. Just start a gofundme and promise to deliver all the different things they could have done.

I think there might be some confusion regarding the release date among certain people. I've seen dozens of comments on various platforms from people just retorting "Lol. Acolyte sucked." as if it has already started streaming. I guess they just mistook people talking about it in anticipation and couldn't help themselves. Or maybe they're bots. Either way, they jumped the gun.

To be fair the did have a big premiere event for it last week. Some of those people may have gone to it (probably not is my guess)

And how come the only men/males involved in Star Wars who have been attacked are Ahmed and Jake? (Other than George but that's par for the course for creators)
With all due respect, are you really this uninformed? If you think no one in the fan base ever attacked Rian Johnson or JJ Abrams, you just aren't paying attention.

That aside, here's a phenomenal insight some people will never get: True Star Wars fans are going to criticize bad acting/bad directing/bad producing/bad writing - and we've had an awful lot of those things over the past decade. It isn't about "attacking" males or "attacking" females. It is about levying genuine criticism of a poor product that has wasted decades of goodwill.

True fans. The bottom of the barrel has been breached. See you all on the other side of the show. See all the people that are actually going to watch the show later.

When did I say they weren't?

The rest of your post is similarly non sequitur.

What part of your own question do you not understand?

Didn't John Boyega get dragged for FN-2187?
