Episode 1 was pretty good. Maybe not as in your face nuts like S1 E1, but good.

Only issue I have with any of the MCU and/or DCU is the slippery slope of time/portal/dimensions. Unavoidable I know, but I don't think it's ever been done well in any of the movies. My opinion, but it feels like it could be a cheap direction.

With that said, one of my favorite shows was DARK on Netflix. They appeared to nail it.

I have doubts about both series, but I’m willing to wait until the end of each one’s season before making up my mind.

One problem is that imho that Gunn schtick probably works best in smaller doses, and right now we’ve had Creature Commandos, Superman and Peacemaker S2 in a row, and some of it is getting tired. All of the series and movies so far reflect what he likes personally.

So, for one thing I definitely look forward to the first DCU project without Gunn’s involvement, which I guess will be Lanterns or Supergirl depending on when Lanterns comes out.

Great start into the new season, which already looks like it will be darker and more emotional than the first.
