Think the price drops are done by an algorithm.

look likes the final 2 Thin Man movies continue to go up and down on a daily basis. The Song of the thin man was $8.99 yesterday and today it is $11.99. Thin Man comes home is now $8.99.
Now if they only reduced the price of the other four ![]() |

For what it's worth, they haven't produced any multifilm sets since that Hitchcock release almost 2 years ago, and that was before the WAC shakeup. The most recent release with even two films, not counting the Tex Avery shorts, was the Val Lewton Double Feature (The Ghost Ship / Bedlam) from last fall, which has both films on a single disc.

Indeed, six films, plus a pair of docs on Loy (from 1990, directed by Richard Schickel and narrated by Kathleen Turner) and Powell (2004 or 5, narrated by Kevin Kline). Recall there also being an episode of the late-50s TV show (Peter Lawford and Phyllis Kirk as the leads), as well as the Lux Radio broadcast.
One of the discs had as an extra Jules Dassin's 1941 adaptation of The Tell Tale Heart, which I kept going back to. It was a nice set. |

Thanks all! Here's some links and a few others. Prices are, as usual, temporary.
Revising this as ZIEGFELD has dropped and also added in CAREY TREATMENT. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Last edited by Yando; 09-13-2022 at 11:38 PM. |
