Make Way for Tomorrow gets me every single time, more than any other movie I've ever seen.

Unhappy

The Last Samurai- near the end when all the Japanese soldiers are shooting/killing the villagers with their machine guns. One of the soldiers order his men to stop shooting because it is like they are killing their own people who are defenseless.
Click- H.Winkler (father) telling Adam Sandler (son) that he loves him but Adam is too busy working and dont have time for his own father.
And my all-time tear jerker movie is The Juggler of Notre Dame- at the end when the Virgin Mary comes to life and drops the rose to the homeless juggler (who lost everything) and the townspeople watches in disbelief! He ends up juggling to the Virgin Mary statue (as a gift) because he does not have anything to give her for Christmas. If you have not seen or heard of this movie please watch it at least once!

I'll probably get hate for this, but DEAR JOHN makes me cry. I forgot how sad it was. The relationship between John and his father breaks my heart. I'm not that close with my dad either even though I lived with him growing up and the relationship in the film is probably realistic for most guys. And the scene where John struggles to read the letter he wrote for his father always gets to me.

A little film starring John Cusack called Grace is Gone. John gets the news his wife has died in Iraq and he takes his two young daughters on a road trip not knowing how to break the news to them. The ending will rip out your heart.

And also - The ball gets through Buckners legs and the Mets win it!!! Was devastated for months after that one.

The last snows of spring, from the seventies
I remember just about every other person leaving the theater was crying or had their heads down. A copy and paste synopsis below.

A young boy who longs for love and attention from his widower father Roberto (Bekim Fehmiu) who is preoccupied with work and his secret new girlfriend Veronica (Augusta Belli).

After meeting and getting to accept Veronica while the 3 are on holiday, Luca then persuades his father to go on a skiing holiday with him alone to catch "The Last Snows of Spring".

Whilst skiing Luca collapses and is diagnosed with Leaukemia and only a very short time left to live. His Father is racked with guilt of the neglect of his son and does his best to make it up to Luca before he dies.

Anyone else seen this movie ?

Big Fish... Even though it was released 4 years after my father passed away, it still made me cry, as it brought/and still does bring back memories of losing him.

Lion King.. As it was one of my fathers favorite films... Was we had watched it numerous times together, and it gets me every time Mufasa dies.

My favorite movie of all time: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind..."It's going to be over soon...What do we do?...Enjoy it..." THAT is the killer part, fantastic movie and even better performances

The Last Samurai, Garden State, Finding Neverland, Man on Fire are a couple others that just get me bad

National Velvet - there's a scene where she's coming home from school, and she pretends to be riding a horse. Always sets me off cos that's what I used to do on the walk home from school, in lieu of having my own pony *blubs*

Three Men and a Baby - one time only, I bawled my eyes out at the scene where they sing goodnight sweetheart to baby Mary. My fiancé broke up with me when I told him I can't have babies (it's called infertility and not a personal insult BTW) and that scene just about killed me, that one time.

I'm over it now though and can watch that scene without blinking.

(oh and I have my own horse, so don't have to pretend to canter up the lane any more either! )
