But then the Sun Came Out For About an Hour, and there isn't a Single Flake,Left.

I am Very Glad to Know You,Rich,Hammie,Dennis,Steve, and Many,Many Other Members were Spared another 1 Foot to 2 Feet of Snow

Well,let me say Thanks Everyone.

With all I have been doing this week in searching for stuff,I havent spent the time on the Forum I usually would.

I did not even realize that thread post #5000 or page 250 were even reached.

I just finished answering a PM from Rhett and came here and saw this.
I am Very Greatful to all of you.

I wouldn't have any posts(or at least,no where near as many) if it wouldn't be for ALL you Great People Posting and talking to eachother as well as myself.

And the fact all of you have felt Free to come by and talk about some of everything,on this Thread.

Everyone is Always Welcomed Here, and I am glad it seems many feel that way.
I have seen some friends that used to stop by dont anymore.

Not sure why,but I hope all of you are well and I haven't angered or done anything to alienate you.
If so,Please Feel Free to Tell Me and I will do my Best to Understand.

And,I want to Thank All of you Great Members,Friends, and Family here on Blu-Ray.com.
You guys are really the finest individuals I have ever been blessed to know and spend my time with.

Its a True Blessing that All of You Really Motivate Me(and Inspire Me)to do the best I can ,with what I have to work with.
And if I wouldn't have tried, considered, or even thought of doing some of these Great Ideas.

So,All of You have made my system so much better then it ever would have been;without talking, chatting, sharing ideas, and seeing Pics.

They and All Of You Have Made this Individuals Life a Thousand Times Better Then I Ever Dreamed It Could Have Been(Just 5 Years ago, when my whole way of life changed)

So,You Great People(Friends and Family)have allowed me to be as Busy,Happy, and Have Dreams,I thought would have ALL Gone Away,Never to Return.

How Can I Ever Thank So Many Of You For All Of This.
But,I Promise,I will try.
Someway and Somehow....

Hey Patrick,my Friend.
I hope the Weather has been providing some Help for you recently.
Maybe Some Clear,Sunny Skies with nice temperatures so the courses look very inviting.

I am very seriously considering MonoBlocks,my Friend.
On Audiogon, yesterday, they had Four Marantz MonoBlocks from a Dealer at $175.00 each.
They are THX Certified and 125 watts each.

Marantz sold these MonoBlocks in the mid 1990's,but these models were one or two models newer(making them late 1990's to early 2000's.)

They were small in width, but Tall and Deep.Placing 2 side by side gives you an amp close to the size of a normal amp component.
So,for all four at $700.00 plus shipping,is a Good Deal for the Sound quality there Mono Blocks provided.$350 + shipping for 2 or $525 + s/h for the Fronts and center.
They are stiill in the original boxes with original packaging.

But with the Emotiva UPA-1 MonoBlocks, its @$425.00 more for two and s/h then a UPA-2 would run(As $750.00 for Two MonoBlocks and $325.00 for a UPA-2)Though the MonoBlocks do Provide More Power with a Much Greater Amount of Dynamic Headroom.

So,I am going to give this some serious thought.
I could get a UPA-2 the Last week of March/First week of April.
Use my Rotel in Bridged Mode to Drive the Center Channel, and the UPA-2 to drive the Fronts/Mains.

Then hold off on another amp purchase and get My Front/Main Speakers and my Center Channel.
Then save for two UPA-1 MonoBlocks.
Which would take about 2 to 2 1/2 months.

Move the Mono Blocks to Drive The Front/Main Speakers,Keep the Bridged Rotel for the Center and the UPA-2 for the Side Surrounds.

Then as I get either 3 or 4 Surround Speakers, get an amp to match it.
If I go with a 6-Channel System I can add another UPA-2 and use it to Drive my Center Channel and the 6th Channel Rear Surround.
Then sell or keep my Rotel Amp for later use or use in another system.

And give me Emotiva Amps for the 6 Channels I Use.
(Though,I could get an Emotiva UPA-1 MonoBlock)Instead of a UPA-2 Amp.
The difference would be about $50.00 total.

So I would have a MonoBlock for Three Speakers(2 Fronts/Mains and a Center)Then a UPA-2 for the Side Surrounds. And Bridge the Rotel for the 6th Channel Surround or use my Yamaha AVR to power the 6th Channel.

But if I continue Like I May,I would use the Rotel for Channel Number 6;and sell the Yamaha AVR.
Then Purchase the Emotiva Pre-Amp/Processor and the 3 Emo Mono Blocks,an Emo UPA-2,and a Bridged Rotel for a Single Rear Surround.

So,time and funds will show me just what route I would take.
But if by the First Month or Two in 2011,I had an Emo Pre/Pro,(4) Emo Amps,(1)Rotel Amp I would be Thrilled.
Because I would also have All New Speakers in Two Fronts(Mains),New Center,Two New Bipolar Side Surrounds, and One New Bipolar Rear Surround.

Then,I would go for a new Blu-Ray Player(Like an Oppo)and a New Projector by April or May of 2011.That would be A Complete Change Over and Upgrade to my Entire System from Top to Bottom.

And a Plan to Use as a Basic GuideLine(That has room for Changes made during this period of time).

So,Thanks,Patrick. You have Given me a Better Set of Options to Consider in the Amp and Speaker Upgrades I will be making from now thru some time in 2011.

Thanks,my Friend.I sincerely Appreciate All Your Help and Ideas you Presented.
I Love this Hobby(which is turning into a way of life).

Well Good Friday Morning,cB,Buddy.
I hope you had a wonderful Evening, and are Looking Forward to a Great Day.

I am Really Hopeing to get the Painting done this Sunday/Monday
(Though my Dad went to the Doctor Yesterday. He has an Upper Respitory Infection and possible Strep Throat/They did a Throat Culture)

So,I am not counting on him being up for painting this weekend.

Which ,if it takes a few days more(or even next Weekend)It will have to Be.

I do have a Nice Idea on the Painting I am Going to Do.
I think it will help in my room tremendously.

But the Futon is due to be delivered by UPS this Monday.
(As is the SACD Player,Dennis was kind enough to Send and to Give Me)I had to twist his arm to allow me to pay for shipping.

So,I will play things by ear, depending on my Dad's Health
(As I dont know if this would be enough notice to have my Brother-In-Law to help out.)

Thanks,my Friend.
I am Very Excited on setting the room back up.

I will have the extra AV Rack for the SACD Player(From Dennis)and my Rotel Amp(which I am going to start using). Then I will also have the new cables to use as well.

So,not only will it Look Different/Better.
The Painting,New Futon, removing more Furniture, and the additional components.
Will give the room a New and Different Look and Feel, all Together.

So,it will seem like a new area.

And it will also be Movie and Music Time(As I have a Couple of SACD's I will order today)
