Bummer, as I would have rather used some No Rush credits to pick them up but I already got the 2 movies I wanted on iTunes just in case it was a price mistake and got corrected quickly.

Looks like the Apple sale/price mistake is over. All of the $2.99 movies just went back up to $7.99.

Amazon might still have them at the lower price.

It does kind of worry me sometimes...with a 2300+ movie collection across the platforms, and hundreds of TV series...

But then I realize...

...unlikely more than a few would disappear due to rights issues, and would I even notice I lost access to them? I have hardly rewatched 1% of my collection anyway!

...and what if I just conked off next year (turning 50, so more and more likely!!)...what happens to all this digital (and physical) media collection then!!

so Striptease uncut/unrated is $5 and says its MA but i thought only the theatrical was ma, the uncut doesnt show an MA logo on fandangoathome, does purchasing this off amazon give MA rights or this is an error?? Thanks for any info

So last year I bought this off Fandango At Home in it's R rated cut. It shows up in MoviesAnywhere as R but on Amazon as Uncut. There's a separate release on Fandango that says uncut. I'm not sure if Amazon has a different cut or not. Best to always go though MoviesAnywhere if you want to make sure it transfers. Looking at the listing on the Digital tab it says Uncut International Version .

i bought the r rated cut on fah thru d2d which ported to MA and the amazon listing for the uncut is seperate, doesnt show i own it....so if i buy the uncut on amazon via the link in ma, i hopefully do get the uncut version in ma and my other services, unlike buying the fah listing which doesnt show the MA badge

I’m not worried.

Should target all of the studios especially Movies Anywhere because that includes most of the big studios and could be considered collusion.

But this lawsuit, in our lawsuit happy country, is a big waste of time in my opinion.

I would say 90% of my digital movies came from combo packages.

And whether I own Complete Last Man Standing, or getting a very long rental, I’m fine with that for $7.99.

I will be long term renting Superman 2025, Fantastic Four First Steps, Jurassic Park Rebirth, Sinners, Weapons and many more titles after Black Friday and will own the 4K and in some cases also the bluray if included.

I will be buying those shrinkflation 4K/Digital packages. If the Blu-ray goes really cheap may even buy that too for Supes and FF.

What me worry?

Edit: I just bought unrated Striptease off iTunes and so far it did not port to MA.

I’m not worried either but there’s always some who get extremely upset if they suspect anything has been removed from their digital libraries.

I have a similar attitude as you; if I “purchase” a digital version of a movie I’ll only do so at a price point that it’s not a big deal if it disappears a year from now.

And the movies that I Really want I’ll wait and buy the 4K hopefully with a code.

I’m mostly interested in this lawsuit because if it doesn’t get squashed and there’s the possibility of class action against every digital retailer how the landscape might change. As in no longer calling it a purchase and what that does to all other digital commodities.

The 2009 reboot season is not on sale.
Sadly some songs are not included, my guess is PC, or rights issues, who knows?
Make sure that you buy the seasons, not the individual episodes, it gets confusing sometimes, lol.
