The first Children of the Corn is good.

(That's all I know)

Seems like a missed opportunity if the second one isn't called the Teenagers of the Corn with the third being 20 somethings of the Corn.

Saw "Warfare" last night in IMAX and it was a phenomenal theatrical experience. The 4K disc should also be great. Catching The Amateur tomorrow in IMAX, as well.

Yeah, the first one is decent with some creepy moments. The second one is okay, but nothing special. The third is awful.

I hope the 4K or Blu maintains the shifting aspect ratios.

This describes most horror series... and they still go on to release parts 4 through 100...

HATE shifting aspect ratios.... would love to see a day where there could be more than one release... if course that will never happen...

Hardcore users sometimes re encode films to eliminate shifting AR.

It is something you have to keep track of if you have a system capable of cinema scope ratio. Subtitles placement can also be a problem.

However, my biggest problem with subtitles is anyone other than me wants sub titles and captions for everything. They listen to books and read movies.

Eventually nothing is better than being alone. (Not sure I'm in a good mood either ..... Friday folks, ... it's Friday .... Weekend let's gooo !!!!)

They don't make um like they used to.

Have more content available to watch than we have time for, will pass on these movies that change aspect unless they are something really special.

I can see where movies with shifting aspect ratios would annoy projector owners, but they don't bother me at all, but then I only watch movies on a *gasp* TV.

I think the ideal movie for you would use shifting aspect ratios with lots and lots of handheld camera work.

I most of my computer parts from them more than 20 years ago when I was building a new PC. They had several themed stores like that one all over SOCAL.

Me too. I lived on Stanford campus and would bike to Fry's often. The Palo Alto store theme was Wild West.

This store pictured is being demolished currently and I imagine it's the last of them.

I would LOVE changing aspect ratios done right... where a 1.85:1 frame opened up to 2.40:1... but i totally get where that could not work on a commercially available physical disc...

As these abomination become more prevalent, a MADVR type setup becomes more and more economically reasonable....my next big expenditure...cough..cough...checks the market today..cough..ahem...maybe not anytime soon..lol

Alternating aspect ratios only remind me that the reality within the 2.4:1 picture is fake.
