So many of the Shout titles are all MGM licenses. This is standard operating procedure with them -- there comes a point in terms of time or copies sold when they want their "baby back" and can shop it around to another label. I don't know the particulars but it does seem MGM's contractual terms are shorter/more stringent than other studios who license out. Happens with all the film soundtracks they license too, and we've seen it with many Twilight Time titles that KL more recently picked up.
I can understand wanting to stick with the Scream releases because you're invested in their brand, but I wouldn't pay "top dollar" for some of those because I can see some/many of them certainly be picked up by another label. |

I wouldn't count on Point Break getting a 4K and my understanding was the previous version of the 1987 Lethal Weapon was pretty mediocre, so I would imagine it would need a lot of work. As I said, have to believe WAC will re-release Point Break.
