Some great deals on some great titles here with some being reference 4K discs. Thank you for sharing! I have been on the fence with Quick and the Dead and the 1998 Godzilla for quite some time, so this was a no brainer. Also double dipped Underworld and 21 Jump Street since Sony does a nice job with upgrading to an Atmos track on their 4K offerings.

My total came to $40. Good way to start my day.

Very nice titles. Must be 20 years or more since I last watched Final Fantasy.

And on a totally different genre, just ordered this from Warners:

It'll be good to see them in CinemaScope rather than the pan-and-scan versions put out on DVD. Just a shame they still haven't released Volume 2 of the uncensored Tom & Jerry cartoons - seeing as the first volume was released several years ago, I don't know what the hold up is.

I never knew Tom and Jerry existed in Cinemascope. Sounds very cool.

Yes they were made from 1954 to 1958, and Tot Watchers was the last of the Hanna-Barbera cartoons sadly. Gene Deitch took over in the early 1960's, but if I'm not mistaken, I think MGM made these in the standard pre-CinemaScope ratio. I do have the Deitch ones on DVD as well, but without a shadow of doubt, the Hanna-Barbera / Fred Quimby shorts were the very best.

I hope you have a great time.
That's a film I'm really looking forward to watching myself. I just love the Mission Impossible movies.

Ordered Outlaw Josey Wells 4K steelbook from amazon for $23.79. Same price as the non-steelbook, so might as well.

Hoping the other Clint steels go down in price.

Filled my VS cart and will pull the trigger on some titles before the weekend ends. Mainly their VS and heavily discounted titles. The Cinematographe titles I will pass on for now altogether because they're doing a special "pop-up" next month at the video store I frequented it when it was nearby. It's a bit further out now but still in the general vicinity.

What I did pull the trigger on this morning was some Deaf Crocodile titles:

Yep, switched to CS around the same time as Disney. Looney Tunes held out though.

I preordered Mission Impossible Final Reckoning because the price was nice ($24.99) and who knows how much the price can change between now and release.

I hope that everyone has a nice Memorial Day Weekend. Do something fun; do something memorable.

Much too far away for me to pre-order.

They (Amazon) don't charge until they ship.

But, I understand ... it's far .... and sometimes preordering on Amazon backfires. My order has sometimes gotten somehow neglected when release day comes and while the website shows it's available overnight my order says it's coming in 2 or 3 months. The SKU can sometimes change.

I have the last few in Steelbook so will roll the dice and see if this Steelbook price drops….which they always seem to.

Probably going to treat myself next week with the 6-month Deaf Crocodile subscription:

https://deafcrocodile.com/products/d...50382075429158

Every single release that I have gotten has hit it out of the park in terms of subject matter, video/audio/special feature, etc. 90% of their catalog has also been encoded/authored by David Mackenzie and FiM, so on that alone, they've gone above and beyond.

May also check out Radiance Films' subscription, because their catalog is also fantastic. Mackenzie and FiM also work on about 80% of their releases, as well.
