Has it been brought up that the Batman Begins BD is only 1 disc so you'll have a free space? That'd bother me. A lot.

Seems The the debate is between those who wanted more of Batman vs those who support Nolan's emphasis on telling the arc of Bruce Wayne's story. I fully support telling Bruce's story!

I'll admit, I do talk freely in this thread about stuff that happens in the film, but I also understand some others points. This JUST came out on BD, and not everyone can get to the theater and watch it when it comes out.

I'll be using spoiler tags from now on.

Agreed except for Bourne. Loved how his trilogy told the arc of his character.

There's no bonus disc for BB on the regular Blu-ray. All the extras are on disc 1. Thanks WBs!

Better to have, and not need.
Than to need, and not have!

I'll make this even clearer for anyone else having concerns. The Best Buy Special Features disc and the Special Features disc in the combo pack and Cowl edition LOOK the same. But the matrix code (the number along the edge of the disc with the fine print) are different.

Cowl/Combo Pack: 2000074101

Best Buy: 2000077763

Indeed. Rather pathetic. I'm still baulking at the several people I have seen here that are buying 3, 4, or even more editions of the same disc.

You should be thanking them(us )! You don't have to spend any extra money, and it helps support the format. Win/win!

Agreed. I ended up with the Target lenticular, and strongly considered the BB steelbook, but $25 for packaging isn't worth it to me. I will only double dip if the collector's edition due out next year is too good to pass up.

How did you deal with that? Did you have to zoom the picture out a bit so that the IMAX scenes would fit onto the screen?

I watched all 3 last night and what a fantastic HT experience!

My 3rd favorite trilogy behind The 3 Matrix movies and LOTR which is still easily #1.

I haven't seen it, but multiple members have said its just a variety of clips and nothing groundbreaking. More than one person said they found it a waste for what it's worth. The packaging is sweet though..

I just watched it zoomed out to 2.35 so the 2.35 parts fit the screen, but the 1.78 would then spill over the top/bottom of the viewable screen area onto the wall. Not good, but it was the best option overall. The IMAX portions cropped very well down to 2.35 and if my projector had enough masking support to cover up the overspill, all would have been well, but it doesn't.

I would agree with LOTR being number 1, then I would rate TDK trilogy #2 then SW 4,5,6
