Seriously, in a scenario where we don’t care about the things that makes us happy now, family holidays, film, music, food, gaming, etc.. I would rather not be here anyway, life is tough enough without the good stuff.

Yes, hopefully he gets beck to us when he is able, I forgot to mention to him my dad had a quadruple bypass ten years ago, and he is doing well now (he is 85)

I don't know for certain what they mean by "available", but I would not be surprised if they are looking for free blu-rays- and OOP ones at that. They did apologize for sending a "random message", but seeing as they sent it, anyway, the apology rings hollow.

For the record I do not sell my blu-rays nor do I just give them away for the asking.

Anyone else getting similar PMs?
I hate scroungers.

There must be lots and lots of good people still in the world. It would be one hell of a statistical aberration for me to know so many of them personally and yet have it be some rare anomaly. While good people endure, hope endures.

Future-proofed my movie server with an SAS expansion card, an externally powered E91267-203 supporting up to 20 devices. The HBA is a 9207-8i. I have four hard drives (or three HDD and one SSD) connected directly to the HBA and the other four through the SAS to the HBA. Don't need the SAS yet, but now I know that I will not be limited by my next hard drive. I could connect up to 24 drives.

Motherboard and CPU are an Asus B350-F and Ryzen 5 2600X that I once used for gaming. Bought that Corsair RM1000x two weeks ago. Very overpowered for a NAS, but I like how many drives can be plugged directly with the Type 4 cables. The old PSU was sometimes not powering on a random drive anymore.

[Show spoiler]

No RAID, no mirrors, nothing. I only make copies. Have a few external hard drives and naked drives that I connect with a docking station. I prefer the docking station method. Should have switched to it sooner.

Are cataloging what movies are on what disk? IOW if a drive fails will you know what titles have been lost?

Most movies divided between drives alphabetically. One drive for director collections. Foreign (not including the UK and Australia) movies on one drive, which has some shortcuts to the director collections. Example, Japan folder has a shortcut to Shinya Tsukamoto in the director collection drive. Animated movies in one drive, TV shows in another. Wouldn't take me very long to find out what's missing. I should take screenshots, though.

A just in case you forgot, use the Dir command to list all your info to a text file. Example, Dir/s/w > D:\Westerns Drive.TXT. This will list the contents of the Root and Subdirectories in the Wide format to a text file.

Dir/? Shows all the switches available.

Absolutely love BARBARIAN ... would snap up a physical release in a heart beat...

Also love AIRBNB... We pretty much always stay with superhosts and have never had a bad experience..

The only place we're staying in a hotel this time around will be Dublin as I want to be walking (stumbling) distance from both the Guinness brewery and Jameson distillery..

Busy day tomorrow. I have my cardiac stress test (CPET) at noon and then I will be seeing my transplant cardiologist later that afternoon. The stress test is riskier for me now, but it has to be done. It's going to be a very hard day.

Some day it doesn't hurt to ask. But what a thing to ask! It boggles the mind.

That said, Does anyone happen to have any extra 1974 Plymouth Dusters available?
