Fair play, I always like wild swings, and we always have the classic original to fall back on. Heck, I like RZ’s H1 and H2 (director’s cut)

Now THEY FOLLOW and TALK2ME.... I'm all in..
Talk to Me was a great blind buy and one of my favorite recent horror releases.

I really enjoyed 28 Years Later. Ralph Fiennes was my favorite character. I wish he had more screen time. Left wide open for 28 decades later.

I really like RZ's H1 and H2 as something completely different from Carpenter's vision... the new OMEN movie completely messed with major plot points of the original while trying to shoe horn into that world... kinda like HALLOWEEN KILLS... unforgivable..

It did, but it doesn’t alter one’s enjoyment of the original. So much time has passed that it was always going to have a totally different feel anyway. The 70’s was unique for horror.

I’m not going to be able to see it at cinema after all due to family circumstances. Can’t wait to watch it in 4K, (ordered Steelbook) but I’m avoiding the film thread as it apparently has a crazy ending.

Glad you enjoyed it.

Will be catching 28 Years Later tonight in Dolby Cinema. Was going to go tomorrow morning but they have the DC screens split with Elio and 28 Years plays until the evening and I don't want to go later, so tonight it is.

I've been watching TV Shows on AppleTV, but the other day wanted to watch The Wild Bunch, so I pulled it up and watch it on Fandango from my Collection. I think very few Disc People could do this!
I have no idea what that means or what point you are trying to make. If I were to decide to watch The Wild Bunch, later today (or any other time) I would just need to go down to my basement, take it off the shelf towards the end of westerns (on the way to the HT), put it in the BD player (on the way to my seat) and watch it. It will work even if my internet is down, electrical utility is down or the end of the world is happening outside my house. And I don't need to pay every month to be able to say that, because many years ago I purchased a physical copy.

I think I am probably the only one in this thread that does not have (any) multiple streaming services And for me it is simply I can't see why I should waste 20$ a month for a service just to (like you said in your previous post)

I finished up watching .

It was recommended to me by gotmule and I found it to be an excellent series overall.

I am now watching .

I only have the first four seasons on blu-ray. I will have to watch The Final Break & The Event Series from my digital collection.

I am mostly enjoying this show, but I did have a laugh out loud moment when there was a scene depicting Illinois State Troopers trying to stop a passenger train by blocking the tracks with their cars; that would NEVER happen!

The point I was trying to make is exactly what you said, you guys prefer Disc even though you might have limited access to Streaming too. You'll wait to watch something on Disc, thinking you'll get superior Quality.

Like I have been watching Stick with Owen Wildon on AppleTV a good Golfing Series. Then I wanted to watch She's Out of My League and Jaws on Movie Anywhere. Was able to bring them up with my Remote with no problem!

We don’t think it, we know it.

None of us have ‘limited’ access, I could easily pay for Kaleidoscope if I chose to, I subscribe to most streaming services.

Disc is and always will be superior AV wise. This is not an opinion, it’s a fact. Your movie night is a second rate experience, also a fact.

Ha ha ha ha ha .

You pretend the quality difference doesn't exist. That's really ok if you want to live in your make believe zone.

You should just give up, buy a player, get some discs and start enjoying high quality media. It's ok to be good to yourself. None of us will hold it against you. Get some quality media and enjoy !
