You more than doubled your collection in that time, did you? I have 1,757 digital titles and every time that I have pointed out to you that my digital collection is larger than yours, you clam the hell up. Methinks that you are prone to exaggeration.

That second sentence is definitely a lie as your collection is NOT 100% 4K with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision. You just posted a week ago that you watched your digital copy of The Wild Bunch from your digital collection and it is only offered in HDX on Fandango and thus it has no Dolby Vision. It also only has Dolby Digital Plus Stereo for audio.

Adding to the irony is the fact that your TV, the Sony 900E, does not support Dolby Vision and your headphones can only simulate Atmos- and simulate by definition is fake. You brag that your entire digital collection has features that you can not even use!

All it takes is a single exception to prove that you lied about all of your digital collection being 4K. Further, very few TV shows are offered in 4K or with Dolby Atmos audio, so there you are caught in yet another lie.

You may not have lost any digital titles yet, but you also have no control over whether or not it happens later. There remains a very good chance that some of your digital titles have been edited to remove objectionable scenes or episodes, again something that you have no control over.
No surprise there.

Mildly entertaining in my opinion. Not one I would consider owning. Decent enough time filler though.

I enjoyed it. Nothing earth shattering but a solid thriller. I'm a big Rami Malek fan so that may have helped.

Leaving for St. Louis for my 49th appointment YTD. It is time for my annual ophthalmology visit to see if my disease has spread to my eyes or not. I am guessing that I am fine as I have no new vision symptoms.

As of the end of May the cost of my prescription medications have hit a new record:

It amazes me how such a system is sustainable; I am just one person after all and look how much just 5 months worth of my meds cost!

I don’t use Plex anymore but I do use a server most of the time for movie play via a Zidoo UHD5000. Home Theater 5 (HT5) has movie selection capabilities that no streaming device* comes close to. And I have several including Apple TV4K’s, Nvidia Shield Pro (Android), Roku Ultra, Amazon Cube, LG TV, Vizo TV and TCL TV (Roku).

If Zidoo can get the occasional frame stutter fixed then the UHD5000 will be nearly perfect for movie play, do not use it for music play.

*Somtimes I use Siri voice search to find a title but it will not search for a title in a specific provider which is annoying.

If it doesn't have the stutter with content from the built in HHD bays your issue is with the network.

I use DAS with my Zidoo now and it'a fully offline. (And it seems very reliable.)

Then you have someone like me, who pays year round and just goes to preventative stuff for the most part. It all evens out. The prices for most anything in US healthcare are all bogus anyways. They inflate the price, knowing the insurance will never pay ther whole thing, and take whatever offer the insurance makes, sans copay.

Wish you the best of luck!

Vilya I Love You take good care of yourself. You really pay attention to everything I say. My Digital Collection is closing in on 2000, that makes it in the Thousands. Most are 4K with Dolby Atmos and Vision, even though my Sony 4K UHD doesn't support it I will soon have a Sony UHD that does...Keep Streaming Rock Solid Digital!

Its an old problem for Zidoo, even the newer AMLogic SoC based players had it till recently. Look at the recent post here. Some are saying firmware v1.2.22 has fixed this issue.

My UHD5000 is Realtek RTD1619BPD based and I am still on v1.0.75 because of problems in v1.0.95. Have played movies for at least 4 other people and I am the only one that sees the stutter. Most of the time a quick rewind will clear the problem.

I try to pay attention to what everyone here has to say. I like to think that it shows that I care- even if I sometimes take exception to what is said.

Only snagged 3 titles from the Cinematographe pop-up. The Tenant 4K, Breathless 4K, and Enter the Void Blu-ray. My HBF VS order finally shipped, as well.

Sometimes gaming shows us the future. For example for a while now game consoles have been coming with and without a way to play physical copies of the games. I bought a PSPGo with no intention of ever having any physical games for it. And the PS5 come with and without the disc drive which is now available separately.

Sometimes my UHD BDs don't come with the online copy but what's much worse is when a physical copy of a video game doesn't come with a physical copy!

"Some physical Nintendo Switch games come with a download code instead of including the game data on the cartridge itself. This means players need to download the game to play it, which has been a point of frustration for many collectors and gamers."

As a PC gamer I can tell you the last physical copy I bought of a game was Fallout 4 in 2015. And before that I probably couldn't tell you. Steam hastened the end of physical copies for PC games. It just is what it is now. But unlike movies there is no difference in quality between a physical and digital game so it doesn't bother me too much. I've had my Steam account for 19 years and haven't lost a game yet. But since I don't really have a choice in the matter I've learned to accept it.

The major difference is films on digital have flatlined, whereas digital games have not.
