Sometimes my UHD BDs don't come with the online copy but what's much worse is when a physical copy of a video game doesn't come with a physical copy!

"Some physical Nintendo Switch games come with a download code instead of including the game data on the cartridge itself. This means players need to download the game to play it, which has been a point of frustration for many collectors and gamers."
I'd also just throw out that digital games aren't particularly different from physical games. You're either getting a 80 GB download or 80 GB on a disc. There's no quality difference.

There are some pros and cons like better ownership with physical, can effectively play a digital copy on multiple systems at the same time.

I personally buy my games digitally. If there was a non-hacking way to rip physical console games into digital, i'd be all over doing that.

Let’s hope this choice stays on. He has a great track record with rebooting franchises and is easily one of my favorite directors.

I recently watched my DVD and that is what made me decide to upgrade it to 4K disc, but seeing as I have just seen the movie I have no idea when I will want to watch it again.

With all the big budget mainstream success he's had... the French language movie INCENDIES still remains his best film by a very wide margin...

Speaking of French language, I've had the most marvelous time in Paris and surroundings the last couple of days.. spent almost 3 hours exploring THE CATACOMBS today after lucking out getting tickets... my daughter and I will definitely be rewatching AS ABOVE SO BELOW when we get back...

Off to Barcelona tomorrow for the weekend and then the long trek back home!

I haven't had a great record with 4K discs, but I'm really enjoying some of these newer transfers. Picked up Point Break, Swordfish and JFK all on 4KBD this past week with my work bonus. They're just more expensive, so I'm buying less and let's hope I don't have to exchange any of them. But I've got some binder space to fill up so filling out the rest of my collection then I am probably just going to keep what I have and supplement it with FAST services.

For me, it’s Prisoners. Thought that was outstanding.

Prisoners is a close second to me, but I have to go with the first Sicario as my favorite of his.

Prisoners is one of the best crime drama films I’ve seen for atmosphere.

I love your tribute to Mick Ralphs gotmule.

In 1974 I saw Mott the Hoople with Queen as support at the Birmingham (England) town hall - a great Live band Mott were. Then in 1975 I saw Bad Company at the Birmingham Odeon in a re-arranged one-off gig due to Paul Rogers having a throat infection.

That Bad Company gig is one of my favourites and so memorable because at the end of the set a second drum kit appeared from behind the stacks with John Bonham sitting grinning with sticks aloft then out came Robert Plant and Jimmy Page to thunderous applause. It was a complete surprise as a thankyou from the band for not returning any tickets. Three members of Led Zeppelin joining in with Bad Company with Mick Ralphs and Jimmy Page on guitars - what a rocking night that was.

I also saw Mick Ralphs Blues Band in 2012 at a Blues festival in Bridport, Dorset . He was very laid back and friendly, chatting with the crowd and his guitar playing was exemplary.

Anyway, a few memories of Mick Ralphs.

RIP.

Mick was an underrated player with a great tone. Helluva song writer. Glad to see Bad Company finally are getting into the Hall of Fame, although that institution is far from perfect.

I read about that gig where 3/4 of Zeppelin showed up! So cool you were there for it and I am extremely jealous.

F1: Formula One was epic. One of the best audio experiences of all time in IMAX. I hope this gets a disc release since WB was also involved.

Made my first B&N CC order:

Anora 4K
Brazil 4K
The Big Heat 4K
Sorcerer 4K
Barry Lyndon 4K
Night Moves 4K

I assume you meant The Big Heat? I haven't seen anything about a Criterion for The Big Sleep, but it would be a day one purchase for me! My favorite Humphrey Bogart movie outside of Casablanca (as evidenced by my profile pic).

Still wrestling with whether I want to order something from the sale.

I have been on a Looney Tunes kick and this one arrived today:

It includes a glittery Bugs Bunny Funko Pop!

The digital code sheet expired nearly 3.5 years ago, but it still remains useful for some of you around here.

Spot on; great tone, great song writer ........ very tasteful soloist. Some guys have great speed and say nothing, Mick's tasteful solos always had something to say and always fit the song!
