We in the UK generally have to pay exorbitant shipping prices when ordering from overseas, so we’re used to it, but I sympathise.

My Oldboy set came today. Gorgeous but a right pain to slide back together. Postcard was for Georges Melies' Le Voyage Extraordinaire. May stick one of the discs on tonight

First Arrow, Arrow Academy anyway, silent release?

Like muchogris I'm inclined to believe this may be part of a boxed set.

Arrow Video releasing a silent film from 1902, plus a documentary about it?! Exciting times.

We can talk about the plasticity of Arrow’s nomenclature all we want, but this is clearly something that qualifies as Academy.

No Air score and I’m out.

The documentary is wonderful at realising how insane and lengthy the restoration process for this film was, but also how tragic the loss of so many of Melies’ films out of his own losses as a man.

However I’m more excited to pick up FA’s colour collection of some of his other shorts.

This has me very excited! Fair play to Arrow.

Ooh nice! I can retire my Park Circus DVD now. Was wondering why that never got a Blu-ray release in the UK. Thanks, Arrow!

It'll be Academy not Video, I'd put money on that. As of this run the postcards are now branded on the text side for Academy and Video anyway.

Yeah we can't use Amazon UK at all in Australia and Amazon US are more expensive now they are collecting taxes...... annoyingly some things are available through Amazon AU and some arent, doesnt seem to be much reason why.

So The Wolf of Wall Street as Academy may still be possible then?

Yeah, you've gotta keep an eye on the AU site. Cos suddenly previously unavailable titles will appear or come back after not being there previously... It's weird.

@ArrowFilmsVideo

We recently sat down with the lovely Annabelle Lanyon to film a brand-new interview for an upcoming 2020 release, care to take any guesses?

Dream Demon, which they’ve already screened and teased with a postcard sadly

'Dream Demon' is more to Arrow Video tastes than Legend. Looking forward to this release.

If Arrow ever did tackle Legend, it would almost certainly be a US-only release, given it's with Fox over here (and over there Universal, who are far more open to outside restorations).
