I'll be honest I haven't watched him as much as I did his freshman year so he could have really improved, but allot of the little stuff, I didn't see after the OSU game that year and that really would have me worried.

What a joke Maryland Football is right now (I TOLD YOU ALL ABOUT EDSALL ) up 41-24 and lose 56-41 2 wins and we only beat miami because they didn't have their full team and Towson probably would have scored on us bad if they had, had their starting QB

Did Friedgen really leave he cupboard that empty? I mean Maryland had a decent 9-4 record in 2010 in spite of Friedgen being fired. Did they really lose THAT many seniors to justify going from a 9-4 2010 record to a 2-10 2011 record? If Miami didn't have suspended players she they played Maryland the Terrpins would have gone 1-11 with it's only win against a I-AA school Towson.

Maybe not next year since it'll take Meyer time to build the program back up. But my guess is by 2013 Ohio St. will start laying beatdowns against Michigan for many more years to come.

Penn St. must be spending big on public relations. Every commercial break in the Wisconsin-Penn St. game today there is a commercial with the new school (President I think?) talking about how Penn St. is doing everything it can to reform the way the school and athletic department operates. Some five point plan for improving things.

I mean he let allot of kids go (trying to act all hard his way or the highway), kicked some of the team, injuries too on defense and offense, but I don't care who you are, no excuse to lose that many games the WAY he did. I knew he wasn't ready for the ACC.

I'll eat my crow on this one. I kept telling you this year would be a step back but nothing dramatic and that you should give him a chance....wow... Just wow. He'll get a few years because this was such a disaster (AD's ego) but he may be gone in a year and a half if things dont improve quickly.... My dad went to the basketball game last night and he's not too sure about the new coach over there as well... Could be rough times ahead for UMD. Hows the soccer team doing? LAX will still be good.

I don't think he will get a few years. Next season may be his last if Maryland can't at the very least show real improvement over this season.

lol Yeah I mean they've got the players and recruits for basketball so I just hope they can start to mesh, Lax we should still be sitting pretty, but again for lax this area is like Louisiana and Florida for Football, and I'm happy with where that programs going.

I would have still killed him if they'd lost, but now with the way he's losing (getting embarrassed game after game) if it continues halfway into next year like you said I think they'll have no choice to eat his contract, because the fan support will be so overwhelming. Anderson continues to hide behind what I assume to be cooked numbers on attendance and the boost the first two games gave the overall season.

But it could get VERY dark for UMD in the coming years.

Just like Peyton Manning before him it looks like Luck is going to get screwed out of a Heisman. Trent Richardson is having a great year, but he's not even close to Andrew Luck. I'll bet Richardson wins it handily though.

Oh... guess I was just surprised to hear a person actually talk about Kentucky football. Been a long time since they mattered in football. My uncle actually played football at Kentucky under Bear Bryant in the late-40's.

Stanford lost 1 game in 2010 and 1 game in 2011. The only way to improve upon that is perfection. Without Luck I'll bet Stanford is at best an 8-4 or 7-5 team. Without Richardson Alabama probably goes from a 1 loss team to a 2 loss team.

I really hope Alabama doesn't get Barry Sanders Jr. next year but they very well might. Sounds like he's deciding between Oklahoma St. where his dad played and Alabama.

So a 1 loss Alabama team is more of a lock to play in the national championship than an undefeated LSU team that beat them. LSU still has to win the conference title game while Alabama's regular season is done. I'm sure LSU will crush Georgia anyway. The SEC is now almost a lock to win it's 6th straight national title.

That doesn't seem fair, does it? All you can hope for as a Corndog fan (other than the obvious victory) is a game with no injuries.
