Just got tickets for Batman '89 in Dolby Cinema for August 25. They're doing both films in DC one night only. I'd go for Batman Returns but it would get out too late. I don't do late nights anymore.

Idk how people who are digital live with the disorganization personally. Avengers being in m instead of with all the other avengers.
Batman begins being in b while the rest of the trilogy is in d.
Having dead pool, Deadpool 3 then Deadpool 2.
Harry Potter is totally out of order.
Basically any series that has an original naming scheme is going to be a mess.

I don’t think I have seen any vod services that offer decent sorting people obviously want as they do it on streaming services bundling series and genres properly.

I don't like it when the cover art changes. Currently Batman and Batman Returns have a Tim Burton themed artwork to match BeetleJuice while Batman and Robin and Batman Forever have different styles.




Also, Apple Music continues to send me updates about an artist with the same name as someone I like who plays in a much different genre.

that is why I say my collection is mostly alphabetical In my mind it is Evil dead 3: Army of Darkness. so not A but e and the third one in the list

Game of Thrones and another TV series of mine has gone MIA on Fandango at Home. Have both on disc so no big deal. As long as my purchased titles that are not available on disc remain I am good with all my redeemed titles disappearing.

Also of note, the last few Paramount titles would redeem only at Fandango at Home. They used to give me a choice between iTunes or Fandango at Home.

So sorry to read this. I think I remember another of your posts on this topic. As I get older, I am beginning to experience many more health issues as well and it's so frustrating. I wish you the best and anyone else who may be having some health problems, recurring or not.

In the future, who knows what AI and advanced technology can do in this regard towards human longevity. It's a shame we may miss out on it. But boy wouldn't it be nice to have the health of our college ages for many decades.

That's very weird. My Game Of Thrones series is still showing in my collection at Fandango At Home. My digital copy is only in HDX, but I have both the 4K discs and the blu-rays; the digital copy is for my family and friends.

The problem is, if that was ever possible, they would have people working well into their 80’s, as the government wouldn’t permit pensions otherwise.

Ya I kind of hate how low effort art is these days for studios. We used to get amazing covers but lately we get the main character or maybe two on a solid background and they call it a day. They could literally use the poster for most of these releases and I would be happier with them but then they probably actually have to pay somebody.

A sad day today; a friend of mine died this morning. He is the father of my friend that drives me to all of my long distance medical appointments. He was 92 and in many ways a father to me as well.

Sorry for your loss. For me lately, everyday is bringing more word of someone passing or taking a turn for the worse....It seems to be relentless and worsening with each year... I guess that's a simply a function of getting older.

One of my three cats is dying of cancer (she's 16) and it's something I'm contending with currently. 2 of my 3 (adult) kids are home now and the other will be here next week but she going pretty fast now. I know she would like to go outside but the flies are all over her and it's so hot that I brought her in. She's so exhausted I don't think much matters to her now.

[Show spoiler]The other day, we got the renewal notice for his insurance. It had more than doubled to well over $300 a month. My wife had to set aside time to call the company for an explanation.
Last week, my daughter injured herself playing soccer. Overnight, her ankle had some swelling and she was in pain so the next morning, I took her to the hospital. My wife stayed home and decided to call the pet insurance company. While we were there, I decided to have my daughter's hand X-rayed as well as she had a nagging injury from a couple of weeks prior (volleyball)...
We were there for an hour and a half. She had 2 xrays done and we were seen by a doctor to go over the result...thumb was a mild sprain, ankle was a high ankle sprain... no breaks but she was referred to a sports injury specialist who saw her a couple of days later for physio instructions and follow up.
At no point was there any discussion of money... no "cashier" at the exit to the hospital or specialist office.

When we got home from the initial E/R visit, my wife was still on the phone with the insurance company. It then took us hours going through the various policy permutations between deductables, coverage amounts, coverage exclusions etc before we came up with what is a less than comprehensive plan for an amount that I'm not necessarily happy to pay.... it occurred to me that once we're taken over, this is the kind of crap we're in for under an american health care system FOR HUMANS

Ya medical billing is pretty crazy. Asking for an itemized bill is definitely helpful and looking up the codes to see if they coded things wrong. I needed a ct scan that probably should have cost 1 to 2 thousand work out to 10k and then they just dropped it when I basically wrote a complaint about the severity and timings of the codes they listed so they dropped the whole bill besides the 500 already paid. I wasn’t trying to wipe the whole bill just change the codes to more appropriate levels of what they actually did.
