Best Buy.. pre-ordered with some leftover gift cards I had, I did the in-store pickup

i would have cancelled my order from amazon and went and bought it at best buy if i wasnt engrossed in dead space and have wanted coming from gamefly today, but i think ill be able to wait until friday to play these

Considering it's a remaster of a PS2 game I have no problem paying less and waiting a few days.

Amazon hasnt shipped The Professional blu today either though so not sure whats going on with them today.

Well this is bull. My preorder of GoW Collections got backordered

EDIT: I forgot to mention that on the GoW Collections page on the Gamestop website, it says it's available

I've had a problem like this with a game before. Usually it's because they didn't expect the amount of demand the game would have and didn't order enough copies or didn't order any at all. I had pre-ordered a game a few years ago at gamestop that I guess like nobody else wanted and it took them about a month and a half to actually get the game in.

I'm probably just gonna have a relative get it for me for christmas after more places get it in stock.

Same here busy with Dead Space, so hopefully when I am done I can walk into Best Buy and pick up GOW.

You guys woulda LOVED it!!!

Today at the Toys R Us by my job, all the non-working local mommys were lined up and asking the clerk about "this God of waarrrrrrrrr!?!?" game??

They were all:

"Is this suitable for my 10-yr-old??"

One lady was like:

"My daughter wants this, is it for girls??"

Gotta love the Christmas pre-game crowd. The idea is to mob the stores BEFORE black friday and then not be bothered anymore. They are silly.

Anyway, I won't be opening mine until Christmas, so enjoy everyone.

Amazon.CA seems to be the only place that has it in stock. I just don't want to wait 5 days for shipping!

This may be the first time in history that Canadian Amazon has something American Amazon doesn't.

I think the 3-way mini-games could have been more educational overall--so perhaps some missed opportunities there.
