So, tell me if I'm reading this right. If you were to get the Hero Edition, then you get all of the pre-order exlcusives? Because, from the looks of it, the Super Voucher includes everything and it comes with the Hero Edition. I'm guessing that the pre-order exclusives are just for the regular edition.

How large is the slingpack replica? Would it be a 1:1 scale version that I could wear myself?

I think by "sportable" they probably meant wearable.

I'm so glad this is coming in June. I was afraid it would come in the fall along with all the other great games this year (uncharted 3, resistance 3, etc.), thus I wouldn't have enough time to fully enjoy each game. plus now I'm gonna have something to play over the summer

So down the good path you'll keep blue electricity, probably develop more direct and homing attacks like inFAMOUS 1 in addition to ICE powers.

Down the evil path, red eletricity, probably developing more area of effect, spreading attacks that hit innocent bystanders and FIRE powers.

I only spotted a white variant of Cole's tshirt for sure but there may be another colour in there.

Man, the visuals look great, and I didn't even know that Kuo has electric powers as well. Looks like Karma moments really matter in the gameplay more than in inFAMOUS 1.

Oooo, very cool/interesting! Especially when it comes down to the Beast. It looked like he had some major fire powers in that comic clip at the end of the first game, so i guess ice will beat it while the evil karma's fire will absorb it? Just pondering.

Cool this is going to be my game of the year. I was wondering what the point was behind the weapon...(gives his hands a rest?) Or makes the electricity more controlled? The fire & ice thing is a nice new touch..Have to figure out how they came into the picture tho also. Are there going to be bonus pre orderes depending on where you go with this game? (amazon,bestbuy,gamestop,etc)

I think having a long melee weapon makes it easier for the player to judge being close enough to successfully hit, enables more elaborate area of effect moves and stringing combo animations and Sucker Punch can more clearly show the charge flowing from Cole's body through to the enemy. That's why they slow down time and adjust the camera to the side as well.

Seems like they are giving a good reason for a 2nd play through of the opposite side.

I wonder if it will have a more flexable narrative as well, instead of having just 2 plain story mode that stick to each other like glue, they'll have a few branching moments. I would like it if it ended like Heavy Rain with 19 endings or something.

From a gameplay perspective, it gives the player a little more reach with melee attacks. One of the criticisms of the first game was how weak and pointless melee was; when you can toss lightning from your fingertips, why bother using fisticuffs? Even fully upgraded melee didn't do appreciably more damage per hit than even basic lightning bolts. It was slow and had little range. So the tuning-fork-like amp gives you more reach, and an excuse to power up the damage of those melee hits.

From a trying-to-justify-it-in-game-universe-logic, think of it as a gigantic stun gun.

They've said the choices you make really do influence the storyline this time...so here's hoping that turns out to be true
