I'd pay a lot for that Melancholia because I'm obsessed with it even though I have the other plain version in the big pink box. But I'd pay $200 tops, not $500 and the bundle price is absurd. No way it sells for that.

You'd think for that price he'd include free shipping.

plain archive, the last couple of months have been very quiet with info. i hope in 2017 they improve this and are more informative

I feel like that probably has more to do with the fact that, being Korean films, the other Korean studios (like the ones that produced the films themselves) probably already have the distribution rights, unlike the assorted American/French/etc. films that Plain has ended up acquiring and releasing. But regardless of the reason, I agree it'd be cool to get some more Korean representation in there, because Oldboy is great and I loved I Saw the Devil (King of Pigs and Tinker Ticker weren't bad but not amazing), and I'm really looking forward to this new one. I'd like to have my horizons continually broadened by Plain!

You can't forget The King of Pigs.

Also we have Right Now, Wrong then pre-order in a few days. I would like to see more Korean films from them too.

Why is this a DVD exclusive and not a BD one? I definitely would have purchased it if it had been a blu-ray. I had no idea people still wanted DVDs.

They will be releasing a blu-ray version soon. Announcement should be within a month or so.

If you ask on their facebook page, they are generally pretty forthcoming with details.
