Dolby Vision on disc and Dolby Vision on streamed files are two different animals. The encode for streaming is basically DV Lite. They must strip away much of the enhancement layer benefits used in the disc version in order to keep the bitrate low. Therefore, each has its own HDR grade.

Just watched the first 15 minutes or so. I am impressed with both the picture quality and the sound quality.

The picture quality has impressive color and clarity. The sound is clear with good bass.

Plan to give it a full watch this weekend. I wanted to keep watching it right now but too tired.

2 pioneer andrew jones speakers with 2 atmos on top from elac and 2 fluance back speakers and a pioneer and andrew jones sub and center channel got from black friday just for my room upstairs, audio system is a pioneer as well with atmos. Not the best but it gets the job done .

Same here. I just re ordered it for in-store pick up for tomorrow instead and canceled the other order (both for the steelbook).

Just did same. Too bad the nearest Best Buy is 25 miles opposite my way to work. Shouldn't have to resort to this after preordering back in early May.

From what I have seen is they put them up in limited quantity before the release date then remove it, and put it back on release date. You can sign up to get notifications when they are in stock. That is what I did with Black Panther.

Lately they've been delaying many online orders of exclusive items by a few weeks so stores have priority stock. If feasible you should cancel and order again with store pickup when that option becomes available on release day, otherwise it'll be a few weeks until they ship a copy to you.

Just happened to me with the Steelbook Jurassic Park Collection but I wasn't notified that they delayed it until later in the day, well after it had sold out at my closest BestBuy.

The original DTS HD MA 5.1 should be an option for those who wish to compare to the Atmos. I'm assuming there's a Dolby 7.1 for those who don't have Atmos.

I might try calling their customer service later and trying that.

My nearest stores are showing they don't have any of the steels, and it's not really gonna be convenient for me to make it to any of the ones that do.

And even then, every time I've cancelled this late and picked up in store, they STILL end up sending the online order a week or so later (and charging me), and I have to find the time to take it back to a store anyway.

I love this movie, but have seen it enough times, I guess I don't mind waiting a week or more for them to ship it.

Already done. I reordered it for in-store pickup and it says it's waiting for me(when the store opens). I have no idea what happened with the shipping, but at least I didn't miss out on the steelbook.
