Dragged a bit for me, I'll have to see the rest of the season to see if it set up something absolutely necessary but on first watch wasn't much of a fan tbh. There's only six episodes and now we have three left, fingers crossed it proves essential so it wasn't wasted time.

[Show spoiler]I was bummed we didn't see anything of Mobius so I figure that'll make up a lot of what happens next week, but I really wanted to see what was going on with what Sylvie set up at the end of episode two and now we have to wait even longer. Makes sense that the agents are variants though, can't wait to see that bomb drop because Loki's gonna have to tell them (hopefully).

It was a fun episode and had great visuals. Sophia Di Martino is amazing!

[Show spoiler]I found it a bit disappointing, after the massive implications of the last episode, to both just be revealed to be a “distraction” and to have nothing in particular dedicated to exploring it, was massively frustrating. The writing also just felt off, a lot of reiterating “we need to get the thing to the thing” repeated over and over again. Sophie Di Martino isn’t particularly strong and I was afraid that the character would just be a serious counterweight to Hiddleston, and that cliffhanger just had no clout to it, in a series where they’ve practically opened up all possibilities, we know the way out is gonna be easily applicable, so why not leave us with the what is going to happen (and why it’s potentially bad/worse than imminent doom) that the idea the characters can’t get out of it why we know they pretty much have to.

I love all the world building, the tone, the production design, the music is astonishing. It’s all amongst Marvel’s most exciting stuff, but I really hope they’re gonna do something with all this stuff outside of gesturing that this is new direction of Marvel going forward. I’ve had patience with the show up till this point and really enjoyed it, but this just felt like spinning the wheels and from all three shows so far, they’ve never elevated beyond being prolonged Marvel movies. The next three eps are gonna have to seriously deliver.

I thought the episode had a great balance of character developing banter and special effects action. The dialogue and chemistry of these characters is excellent and these D+ series have better effects than many movies I've seen. I find it a completely immersive experience while watching. With this level of quality, I'd be fine with them telling whatever stories they want to tell. Keep 'em coming!

Halfway through, this Loki series is already working its way up my list of MCU favorites. If they stick the landing, it could be near the top, especially if it enriches Multiverse of Madness like I think it will.

They have done a good job with Sylvie. She feels like a Loki yet while being her own different character.

That was my least favorite episode thus far, especially with the absence of Mobius, still pretty solid though.

These Disney+ shows have been a mixed bag for me, even WandaVisions finale was wonky as well.

Man this show is a lot of

Episode 3 was kinda boring. A show about Loki should be more fantastical and what not.

This is definitely motion picture quality. Feels much more this way than WandaVision and even Falcon and the Winter Soldier though I did not see that.

You could easily have this level of production in an actual MCU theatrical feature.

The ending long take sequence - very very good. Again very cinematic.

MCU doing all the right things here.

Now storywise - I would say SLIGHTLY filler-ish. It is basically one long interaction between Loki and Sylvie with not all that much revealed. So I think maybe padded out by 5-7 minutes but nevertheless solid episode.

I give them kudos for not cutting away to the TVA. They could have easily done that an a normal TV show would have done that. But they kept to the matter at hand even though it was a little bit baggy.

The level of performance is of course very good from Hiddleston. I mean MCU is usually just perfect casting wise and Hiddleston's performance cannot be improved upon.

I liked Sophie too. I know she comes across as extremely abrupt and abrasive. But I think that's how she's meant to be.

Very solid series so far and very very very good world building. I really have to commend Fiege on that front. No expense has been spared. This is about as good production quality as you can expect. This is like a universe away from CW shows.

The action and combat staging in Falcon and the Winter Soldier are very good and so far, much better than Loki. Despite a late-stage re-write and I assume re-shoots due to a removed plot about a global viral threat (scripts were written pre-Covid), all-in-all Falcon and the Winter Soldier has a good story with a lot of surprising heart, along with many references to Captain America: Civil War (you might want to watch Civil War for a refresher before watching the series).

Check it out when you can. You won't have to wait a week between episodes, either.

I don't agree. For me, the first episode was boring but the second episode was better than the first and I loved the third episode. But, I don't like the extremely short season, with it only being six episode.

I actually enjoyed the 3rd episode, but I didn't like how it ended. I'm assuming, if there are only 6 total episodes, that something major will happen within the next 2 episodes.

Well I did a rewatch and liked it a lot more the second time, but I still enjoy the first episode the most by far, then the second and the third. Looking forward to the second half of the season for sure.

Really good episode, but weaker than the other 2.

My theories still live.

This episode theories:

[Show spoiler]-Loki knows Sylvie isn't a Loki.
Half of the episode took place in another's magic.
Either Sylvie enchanted Loki or vice versa or maybe even both lol
But they're definitely playing each other
-Loki still might have the time stone

I remember early rumors suggesting MoM to feature a Strange, Wanda, and Loki team. Which automatically sold me.

And considering this show has huge implications that’ll certainly play a role in Multiverse of Madness, I hope it is true.
