Depends on 2 things: 1. How light is your wallet now? 2. Do you have an angry spouse when the 15th rolls around each month (new pre-orders announcement)?

Actually, I was waiting for the OCD crowd to say... how the "Monterey Pop" and "Che" cases doesn't fit in with the others with cases. Those two kind of stick out. Also, the Christmas Tale "C" look a bit too high as well. And I bet there are people going to complain to Mulvaney about that.

Anyone check out Criterion's new YouTube channel?

RIP Jean Simmons (for those who have seen her on the Criterion releases of "Black Narcissus", "Hamlet", "Great Expectations" and "Spartacus").

Ordered my second batch of Criterion Blu's today - For All Mankind, The Last Emperor and Wings of Desire. Only one I've seen before was The Last Emperor which I enjoyed watching many years ago. Hopefully I don't get the crappy cardboard case.

I echo these comments. The Sherwood 5004 is one of the Blu-ray players I have, and I can't say enough good things about it. It's a damn good Blu-ray player for an amazing price. The player is also region free, so there is nothing not to like about it.

I rarely use DeepDiscount.com for this very reason. Their orders take a ridiculous amount of time to get to me. All I do is wait, wait, and wait some more with this company, so they don't get very much of my business.

Universal will probably want to release that themselves...but you never know, it's still a very controversial film.

Criterion still owns the rights. I hope they release it on Blu Ray soon!

(I never plan on getting the replacement cases myself, I live digipaks)

Believe it or not I've never seen that one. I sure hope it's a better jesus movie than Passion of the Christ. I literally fell asleep during that one. Very unrealistic, bad acting and a crappy story.

Its better IMO. Not a fan of Passion myself really. Plus Peter Gabriel did the score! lol

Is it just me or is the audio option for Last Year at Marienbad labeled wrong in the menu on the Blu-ray? What I mean is when the Restored Audio is highlighted the Original Audio mix plays? And vice-versa? Can anyone check for me?

The Criterion menus are kind of confusing. Only one option is "highlightable" at any point in time. The option that is currently actually selected is greyed out, and the non-selected option is highlighted - pressing enter will cause you to select the item highlighted, and it will then become greyed out. Look at the subtitles menu - it's the same way. I was initially confused by that as well, but I guess I've just come to expect it on Criterion BDs.
