He definitely didn’t compare it to Picasso He was just saying art is subjective which is true.

Right now it seems that way but once the discs are actually released and reviews and comments about the quality for each start pouring in it’ll be worth having the separate threads.

I posted the video in all five threads because I know some people are only following threads for specific Halloween movies and didn't want anyone to miss out on the info

But there are other threads combining multiple titles like Star Trek, G.I. Joe, LOTR, Indiana Jones, Bourne 1-4, etc etc.

Indiana Jones and Lord of the Rings don't have separate 4K releases...

From the sounds of that interview Cundey just approved the new 4K scan, but didn't actually color correct it himself.

But they’re separate films. Probably all scanned separately and graded separately and look differently from each other..

A boxed set is one release. These are 5 separate releases, hence individual threads.

So by that logic we should have individual threads for the Bourne movies because they got individual releases, G.I. Joe because they got individual releases, The Mummy Trilogy because they got individual releases, etc.

Seems random..

Cliff seemed extremely sad that Shout didn't get to do Dawn of the Dead (1978).

This might be of mild interest to UK posters, particularly from the Central region. The tail end of this video is the intro to Halloween being broadcast in 1984. I don't know if it a was a network showing or if it has been shown prior to that. Anyone got any clues?

[Show spoiler]In-vision continuity announcers though, eh? Those were the days.

Can't believe the distinction has to be made between a boxset release containing several individual movies and several individual releases of individual movies

Some people just have to find issue with everything

Is there a good chance the preorder price will go below $27.99?

I’m gonna guess…no. Seems too cheap to sell it for anything lower after the work they put into it.

Most likely not. DiabolikDVD replied to a comment on Facebook stating that their price was the lowest they could go.
