Cruel Intentions had its 25th anniversary a few days ago. It was 10 back in 2009.

And still no 4K to commemorate.

You might possibly have some rare ones, I think Twilight Zone the Movie and Black Xmas have a little value, can probably sell some of the horror titles like The Thing, most are likely worthless, may be able to sell a big lot of them on the Bay. I sold a lot of mine when I upgraded things and most of my rare titles/imports. Everything I still have has no value but to me as my only copy of something (Breakfast Club, for example). I do still use my player and watch DVDs upscaled on the Toshiba as it looks better than even my UHD player does upscaling a DVD. Even if some of your films have no value to you keep the snaplock cases they are wonderul to have around.

The 20th anniversary felt not so long ago and it freaked me out because it really hit home the passage of time. The 25th just crept up on me again when I saw SMG post about it.

I don’t know why Sony didn’t release a 4K for the 20th since they went to the trouble of giving it a theatrical re-release to mark the occasion. Though I still regularly watch the blu-ray and think it holds up surprisingly well for a 2007 release.

They definitely still had it 5 years ago. Their logo was on the re-release poster. Wonder what happened since then.

And this is another example of why physical media is important since it’s not available to purchase digitally or stream anywhere in Canada. I guess that’s because Sony no longer distributes it.

As I recall, they are an indie distributor that usually distributes physical through Universal.

They’re mostly lower-budget theatrical titles.

The most recent release of the film is this BD-R double feature.

I can't see the Instagram post (think he might've blocked me on there) but I can see the Twitter one. The amount of people taking it at face value, who don't seem to understand that dead people can't supervise remasters... actual mashed potato for brains. We need a new plague.
