I got to ask Heather Langenkamp a few questions today. Before one of them I mentioned this set. She had no idea about either the Amazon exclusive or the standard coming out in a few weeks.

That's really odd considering I've seen YouTube videos of her and Robert talking about the upcoming 4K's...maybe they were just talking about the first one? I'll admit I didn't watch all of them so I don't recall if they talked about multiple titles, but they were definitely discussing 4K versions of NOES.

She knew about the first film 4k release as it was at her autograph table (which was set up right next to Robert's) but didn't know the other films were coming out too.

She thought that the sweater packaging for the limited should have been an actual knit cover

Anyone else crowdfund the Blu Ray of Dylan's New Nightmare a few years back? After a 2 year wait the Blu Ray's are supposedly shipping now. I have yet to receive my copy but am hopeful it'll arrive this month. I've held off of watching the 4k Digital Download sent to backers for all this time as I wanted to watch it on disc for my first viewing.





It should make for a nice conclusion to my 4k Marathon once the new set arrives.

I had to put the Seinfeld line in. Call it cumpulsion(oops) Being straight myself, I do love Nightmare 2. Nightmare 2 and New Nightmare are my favorites in the franchise. I remember watching Nightmare 2 on Fox way back when. I didn't know what it was(i was maybe 10), but from the moment the bus drives into the desert i was hooked. But anyway this thread hasn't disappointed.... yet!
