I've been seriously loving everything about my audio upgrade so far...The A1H is handling everything I throw at it and performing miracles.

BRING HER BACK is the most technically excellent disc I've thrown at this year.

Last night, the DTS NEURALX upmixer absolutely crushed it on the DTSHD 7.1 track on the TOC remake.

and even the compressed stream of DANGEROUS ANIMALS was spectacular upmixed by the DSU...Really hoping for full blown ATMOS on the disc..

Some developing news on my situation:

[Show spoiler]I received a message this morning from my electrophysiologist (a type of cardiologist that specializes in the heart's electrical activity); she's the doctor that did the surgery to implant my biventricular pacemaker on April 29th of this year.

She told me that she now believes that I have complete heart block, also known as 3rd Degree Atrial/ Ventricular Block. I was 2nd degree A/V block Mobitz type II at the time of surgery.

This refers to an electrical block as defined thusly:

"When you have heart block, there is interference with the electrical signals that usually move from the atria to the ventricles. These signals tell your heart when to beat."

"Third-degree heart block is the most severe. Electrical signals do not go from your atria to your ventricles at all with this type. There is a complete failure of electrical conduction. This can result in no pulse or a very slow pulse if a back up heart rate is present."

https://www.hopkinsmedicine.org/heal...es/heart-block

My doctor says that this means that I am now fully pacemaker dependent.

Amazon is getting rid of amazon sharing so I guess I'm losing my free shipping.

Its definitely going to impact my buying as I need to leave stuff to trigger the free shipping when good deals show up.

I will miss the no rush shipping credits as I used them for a few book series but oh well.

Isn't Amazon Family the same type of sharing system?

I haven't looked into it yet.

Could the person you are sharing with not order them for you?

I said it was an option, which it will be for some, including myself. If it means continued enjoyment of my beloved hobby (and passion) it’s money well spent. I didn’t say it was another option for everyone, although Sony released a new model this year (albeit they just removed network functionality from the previous model)

I just made my usual post over in the Home Video Sales thread before leaving for my drug trial this morning. 4-5 hours hooked to an IV plus 4 hours of roundtrip travel to St. Louis. My 85th appt. of the year.

My healthcare regimen keeps me busy and prevents me from causing trouble (mostly). I'm kinda high maintenance anymore.
