Tuesday pickups. Played the waiting game on Pokémon Advanced. Also ran into the Arrow release of Donnie Darko for $24.99, so I hid that until I knew if it was a good buy. I'll probably go back and get that in morning.

Thrift store;
$4 - Frost/Nixon. This is an excellent political thriller. Can't beat it for the price.
$4 - Tears of the Sun. Decent Bruce Willis action movie. Only saw it once when it first came out so want to revisit it.
Amazon;
$13 - Escape from New York (Shout Factory SE). Don't hate me but I've never actually seen this. Pumped to check it out.
$6 - Clerks. A classic. Can't beat it for the price. Need to wait for the sequel to drop to $6-8 and pick it up too.
$7.89 - The Peacemaker. Corney 90's action movie with Clooney and Kidman. Decent from what I remember seeing on cable.
$5.50 - Changeling. Blind buy.
$15.49 - Goon: Last of the Enforcers. Blind buy. It was pretty good. Original was an 8/10 for me. Would call this a 6/10.
$10 - Ghost in the Shell. Blind buy. Wife and I watched it and it was pretty cool. Great eye candy. Never followed the anime so didn't have any context going in. Felt like "Blade Runner the anime" but I guess they were going for that? Scarlett was great/sexy as always.
$5.96 - Date Night. I got this for free with an old gift card I found in my wallet that had exactly $6 on it so I just burned it on this. This movie is just so-so.
$4.38 - A Beautiful Mind. Great from what I remember. Want to sit and rewatch the entire thing. Only time I've seen it before was on cable with commercials which makes it like 4 hours long.
$4.99 - Dead Calm. Blind buy.

$7 - Waterworld. Love this underrated/hate Costner flick. It's Mad Max on water and I friggen love that! Probably watched this movie a hundred times and owned the DVD. Finally have it on blu and for a great price.
$8.19 - DragonHeart. This was a movie I rented with my dad as a kid and then he proceeded to work on his laptop through the entire thing up in his office so I sat and watched it and LOVED it. Quad and Connery are great and I don't mind the questionable 90's CGI. And holy crap now that I'm googling it I see that David Thewlis played the villian and he was in the most recent season of Fargo. I knew that I knew that creepy ass dude from somewhere!
$13.06 - Poltergeist. I do not really watch horror movies. This movie is one of the exceptions to that rule (Shining, Excorcist, etc.). Another Spielberg gem back when he was pumping out hit after hit, masterpiece after masterpiece, classic after classic. Poltergeist is excellent. All the sequels are trash and the "Curse of Poltergeist" is real.
$11.66 - Kick-Ass/Kick-Ass 2. Was tempted by the recent 4K release of Kick-Ass but elected for this two pack instead. Liked both of these movies, obvs the first one is better but I love that you get Cage and Carrey in interesting roles in each film.
Sony rewards;
Black Hawk Down - got this for free with my 2nd 'movie buff' pass.
Disney Rewards;
National Treasure 1 & 2 - got both of these for free using disney rewards points.
Ordered them same day, one showed up in 4 days, the other took 11 days. I dunno.
